Polestar Singapore is now taking interest for the Polestar 4 in Category A as well as Category B.
The split was on polestar.com/en-sg/polestar-4 and on Wearnes Automotive’s importer offers page on Saturday (Aug 29). Wearnes operates Polestar in Singapore. A Polestar 4 Category A Singapore car would have to sit at or below the Land Transport Authority (LTA) cap of 110kW for fully electric Category A vehicles.
CATEGORY A
OneMotoring states that, for COEs obtained from the May 2022 first bidding exercise onwards, fully electric cars with a maximum power output of up to 110kW (147bhp) take Category A. Fully electric cars above 110kW take Category B.
Polestar’s Singapore specification table, checked 29 August, still lists two powertrains. The Long range Single motor is published at 200kW and 343Nm. The Long range Dual motor is published at 400kW and 686Nm. Both figures sit above the Category A cap.
Wearnes has not added a third power figure to that table. The importer’s offers page invites Category A and Category B interest for the same model, and it does not publish a Category A on-the-road price on that public page, checked 29 August.

Those range figures are Polestar’s WLTP claims, not a road test. The Singapore page says electric vehicles sold here are measured against WLTP, at an average speed of 46.5km/h in summer temperatures from 100 per cent to 0 per cent state of charge.
The same spec sheet lists a 100kWh battery, a digital rear-view mirror, and no rear windscreen. Cargo is published at 526 litres with the seats up, including under-floor space, and 1,536 litres with the seats folded. A front storage compartment is listed at 15 litres. The car is 4,840mm long on a 2,999mm wheelbase.
Direct-current charging is listed as 10 to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. Alternating-current charging is listed at 11kW, with 0 to 100 per cent in 11 hours.
COE ON 19 AUGUST
Category A closed at S$128,501 in the 19 August 2026 second open bidding exercise, according to OneMotoring, checked 29 August. Category B closed at S$131,001. The gap is S$2,500.
Quota in Category A was 1,197, with 1,600 bids received. Category B quota was 936, with 1,316 bids received. Prevailing quota premium (PQP) on the same page is S$126,208 in Category A and S$128,697 in Category B.
COE sits on top of the list price. The on-the-road number that matters is the one the authorised dealer publishes against the current premium, and it will move. Wearnes’s public offers page does not state whether a Category A Polestar 4 package is quoting this quota premium, a locked figure, or a later exercise.
Tesla already sells a Category A electric car in Singapore by capping power at 110kW, the Tesla Model 3 RWD 110. A Category B electric SUV already on sale through an authorised dealer is the Toyota bZ4X.
WARRANTY
Every Polestar 4 on the Singapore product page carries a 5-year vehicle warranty and an 8-year battery warranty, or 160,000km, whichever comes first. If the battery’s state of health drops below 70 per cent of original capacity inside that window, Polestar says it will repair or replace the pack at no cost, provided the service programme has been followed.
Four years of roadside assistance are included. Over-the-air updates and one year of connected services plus are listed as standard.
