After months of anticipation, Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is officially reopening its doors this Wednesday, 1 July 2026, at Jewel Changi Airport — and the wait has been well worth it. Singapore’s beloved Pokémon flagship store has undergone its first full-scale renovation since opening in 2019, and the results are nothing short of spectacular.
The grand reopening follows our earlier coverage of the renovation announcement, which revealed that the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo would be taking over as the store’s new symbol Pokémon. Now, with the doors set to open, we finally have a full look at what’s inside.

A Store Inspired by Singapore’s Heritage
The revitalised Pokémon Center SINGAPORE draws deep inspiration from Singapore’s unique culture and heritage. The interior features beautifully crafted shelves and design elements paying tribute to traditional local architecture — a thoughtful touch that makes this far more than just a retail store. It’s a celebration of Singapore’s identity through the lens of Pokémon.

One standout feature is a dedicated area inspired by Singapore’s beloved food court culture — a clever nod to one of the things that makes this city truly special. There’s also a spectacular ocean-themed event space featuring Vaporeon, the Water Type Pokémon.

Exclusive Commemorative Merchandise Across Two Waves
One of the most exciting parts of the reopening is the specially designed commemorative merchandise, crafted exclusively for Pokémon Center SINGAPORE. A total of 20 unique items are releasing in two waves, and the designs are genuinely lovely.

Wave 1 — Available from 1 July 2026
The first wave launches alongside the reopening on 1 July, featuring 12 curated lifestyle items. Highlights include pieces featuring original artwork depicting Pokémon in a Singapore-inspired cityscape, as well as a charming Kopi Cup & Saucer Set (S$28) that pairs perfectly with Singapore’s coffee culture.

Wave 2 — Available from 7 August 2026
Mark your calendars for the second wave on 7 August 2026. This collection leans even harder into local everyday culture, with adorable Pikachu bag charms representing three iconic treats — a durian, a cup of kopi, and a slice of pandan cake (S$23 each). There are also Peranakan-inspired pouches, graphic T-shirts, and an embroidered tote bag featuring Pikachu and Solgaleo.

How to Visit During Opening Week (1–5 July 2026)
To manage crowds during the opening week, Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is operating a ticketed admission system. Here’s what you need to know:
- 10:00AM – 1:00PM: Store Visit Application (advance reservations — the application period has already closed)
- 1:00PM onwards: Same-day Queue Entry Tickets, distributed on-site from 8:30AM daily on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last
If you’re planning to visit, get to Jewel Changi Airport early to queue for your same-day ticket. Do note that Pokémon Singapore has asked visitors not to gather or wait around the store before the 8:30AM ticket distribution time.

Plan Your Visit
Pokémon Center SINGAPORE is located at Jewel Changi Airport, the same mall where you’ll find Changi Rewards and CapitaStar double rewards. If you’re making a trip out, check whether you’re eligible for any Jewel tourist perks while you’re at it.
