Singtel and StarHub iPhone Duo pre-orders fully reserved a day after opening

iPhone Duo pre-order stock at Singtel and StarHub was fully reserved by Saturday 17 October, a day after both telcos opened orders. Singtel’s iPhone Duo stock was fully reserved at 5.30am on Saturday, with pre-order slots for later shipments to be announced.

StarHub’s iPhone Duo stock is fully reserved, and its pre-order page has a sign-up to be notified when the next batch arrives. StarHub had opened online pre-orders at 9pm on 16 October.

M1’s iPhone Duo page was still taking pre-orders early on Saturday morning. Its window runs to 11.59pm on 22 October, and the phone goes on sale in Singapore on 23 October.

Singtel and StarHub after the first batch

Singtel opened registration of interest on 10 September and started Duo pre-orders on 16 October. The telco does not sell the Duo at the recommended retail price without a Singtel plan. Its stock tracker refreshes every 10 minutes between 8am and 10pm, so Singapore buyers waiting on a second batch will see the change there first.

StarHub’s launch release set the online pre-order window at 9pm on 16 October to 11.59pm on 22 October. The launch offer is the Duo from S$0 upfront without a trade-in, 36-month instalments at 0 per cent interest, a S$200 trade-in bonus, 50 per cent off Unlimited+ Max plans for six months and up to S$350 off for new sign-ups and port-ins.

All StarHub shops start selling the Duo on 23 October. The Paragon, NEX, Jurong Point, Tampines Mall, AMK Hub and Compass One shops open at 8am that day.

M1’s window is still open

M1’s pre-order period runs from 8pm on 16 October to 11.59pm on 22 October. For a port-in on the 256GB Duo, M1 charges S$0 upfront and S$96.95 a month over 36 months on Bespoke Flexi with its 600GB plan. That plan carries 50 per cent off for the first 12 months under the promo codes FLEXI600 and FLEXI800.

On a 24-month Bespoke Contract, the 256GB Duo costs S$2,128 upfront with the 50GB plan at S$62.95 a month, S$1,869 upfront with the 200GB plan at S$79.95 a month, and S$989 upfront with the unlimited plan at S$249.95 a month.

If M1 runs out, buyers can join a Priority Reservation queue on WhatsApp with a S$50 pre-payment, which is non-refundable. M1 treats all pre-orders as final.

Singtel’s plan figures for the 256GB model

On Singtel’s 24-month 5G+ Enhanced S plan at S$78 a month, the 256GB Duo costs S$2,120 upfront, less S$311 in port-in savings. Singtel puts the 24-month total at S$3,681.

Singtel sets that against buying the phone at S$3,099 and pairing it with a S$40-a-month SIM-only plan, less S$120, for S$3,939 over the same 24 months. The gap is S$258. A S$0 Duo is also available on the 5G+ Priority L plan with a trade-in of an iPhone 16 Pro Max 512GB, valued at S$900. Singtel PayLater spreads the cost over 12, 24 or 36 months.

Buying it from Apple

Apple Singapore prices the Duo at S$3,099 for 256GB, S$3,399 for 512GB, S$3,999 for 1TB and S$4,899 for 2TB. The phone is eSIM only.

Apple’s Singapore store sells the Duo from 23 October, with a limit of two per customer.
