WHO PAYS WHICH FIGURE
From the May 2022 first exercise onwards, OneMotoring places non-fully electric cars up to 1,600cc and 97kW, and fully electric cars up to 110kW, in Category A. Cars above those limits take Category B. Category C covers goods vehicles and buses. Category D covers motorcycles. Category E is open for all except motorcycles.
New registrations pay the quota premium from the exercise that produced the Temporary COE. Renewals pay the prevailing quota premium (PQP), which OneMotoring lists for September as S$126,208 in Category A and S$128,697 in Category B.
AUGUST TO OCTOBER QUOTA

LTA set the August to October 2026 quota at 19,085 on 24 July, 0.2 per cent above the May to July total of 19,052. Annex A breaks that into 7,134 in Category A, 5,527 in Category B, 1,836 in Category C, 3,065 in Category D and 1,523 in Category E.
Bidding under that quota began on 3 August. LTA also flagged the longer three-week interval between the second August exercise and the first September exercise.
NEXT EXERCISE
The official 2026 schedule lists September’s first exercise as opening at 12 noon on 7 September and closing at 4pm on 9 September. The second September exercise opens at 12 noon on 21 September and closes at 4pm on 23 September.
Results for each closed exercise are posted on OneMotoring’s COE open bidding page. Earlier LBRD files on the 5 August premiums and the first August bidding window remain on the site for the prior round.
