Three new Macs land in Singapore stores today, 6 November 2026, after a week of pre-orders. The MacBook Pro M6 Singapore price starts at S$2,699 for the 14-inch model, the refreshed iMac with M6 starts at S$2,099, and the all-new MacBook Pro with an OLED “PROLED XDR” screen and touch support begins at S$3,999.
That is a wide spread, so here is what each one costs, what you actually get, and how students and teachers can shave a few hundred dollars off.
MacBook Pro M6 Singapore price and what changed
The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 is the entry pro laptop. It starts at S$2,699, or S$2,559 with education pricing, in space black or silver.
Inside, M6 brings a 12-core CPU and a 12-core GPU, two more cores each than M5. Apple quotes up to 30 per cent faster graphics and up to 25 per cent faster on-device AI work compared with M5.
- 16GB of unified memory as standard, configurable to 32GB
- Up to 24 hours of battery life, which Apple says is the longest ever on a Mac
- Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6
- Liquid Retina XDR display, with a nano-texture option
- 12MP Center Stage camera and a six-speaker sound system
If you are still on an M1 or M2 MacBook, this is the sensible upgrade. Apple’s own comparison claims up to 2.5 times faster Xcode builds and up to 11.7 times faster Blender rendering versus the 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro.
MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR: OLED and touch, from S$3,999
This is the headline act. The MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display uses a tandem OLED panel and is the first Mac with touch input, plus a Dynamic Island at the top of the screen for Spotlight, Live Activities and Siri AI.
Note that these models run M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, not M6. Singapore pricing:
- 14-inch with M5 Pro: S$3,999 (S$3,789 education)
- 16-inch with M5 Pro: S$4,499 (S$4,229 education)
- 14-inch with M5 Max: S$6,299 (S$5,869 education)
- 16-inch with M5 Max: S$6,499 (S$6,089 education)
Specs-wise, you get up to 2000 nits peak brightness for both HDR and SDR, a 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a 10Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, and colour coverage for P3 and Adobe RGB. Memory goes up to 128GB and storage up to 16TB.
The new design is also lighter. Apple says the 14-inch now weighs about 3 pounds (roughly 1.36kg) and the 16-inch about 4 pounds (roughly 1.81kg), with up to 24 hours of battery life. Photographers and video editors will want to see that screen in person before committing.

iMac with M6: seven colours, from S$2,099
For the family desk or a small office, the iMac with M6 keeps the 24-inch 4.5K Retina display and comes in blue, green, pink, yellow, purple, orange and silver, with colour-matched accessories.
- 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU: S$2,099 (S$2,029 education)
- 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU: S$2,399 (S$2,259 education)
Apple claims up to 2x faster graphics and up to 5x faster on-device AI performance than the M4 iMac. You also get Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports, and optional 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.

Where to buy and how to save
All three Macs are available from today on apple.com/sg, in the Apple Store app, at Apple’s retail stores, and at Apple Authorised Resellers. A few ways to bring the price down:
- Education pricing is for current and newly accepted university or college students and educators, and the gap is S$70 to S$430 depending on the model.
- Apple Trade In gives credit for your old computer. Check what yours is worth at apple.com/sg/shop/trade-in.
- Buy a new Mac and you can get three months of Apple Creator Studio free. After that it costs S$17.98 a month or S$179 a year, or S$3.98 a month for students and educators.
- Watch for authorised reseller bundles during the 11.11 and year-end sales, though stock of brand-new models tends to be tight in the first weeks.
Shopping for something smaller? The OLED iPad mini also goes on sale today from S$999. And if you prefer paying monthly with repairs included, Samsung’s new SmartPlan is a different way of buying a laptop or phone worth comparing.
Which one should you get?
For most students and office workers, the S$2,699 MacBook Pro with M6 is the value pick. The PROLED models only make sense if you edit photos or video for a living, or you really want touch on a Mac. And if the computer never leaves the study room, the S$2,099 iMac gets you a big screen and M6 for less than any of the laptops.
