Pet owners and animal lovers have a free weekend outing to pencil in: Good Pet Fair Kampong Edition takes over the Great Eastern Promenade at The Kallang on 22 and 23 August 2026, from 10am to 8pm. Expect close to 100 booths, kampong games, free-flying parrots and even a Singapore Book of Records attempt, all in one pet-friendly precinct by the water.

A record attempt and free-flying parrots
Two highlights anchor the weekend. On 23 August at 4pm, the fair attempts an official Singapore Book of Records entry for the largest gathering of Shetland Sheepdogs, so expect a sea of Shelties. Across both days at 10am and 5pm, the Freedom Flyers Meet & Greet sends parrots soaring across the precinct, with close-up encounters for anyone who wants a better look.
Zones, booths and kampong games
Visitors can wander through Feather, Critter and Aquatic Zones to get close to parrots, insects and fish and learn how they are cared for. Close to 100 booths bring together local and overseas pet retailers alongside animal welfare groups, while a spread of F&B food trucks and booths makes it easy to settle in for a laid-back afternoon with your pets.
There is a nostalgic streak too, with traditional kampong games such as Tikam-Tikam and Chapteh, pet craft workshops, a guided walking tour you can bring your pet on, and a pet-friendly outdoor movie screening along the promenade. A partnership activation with Grab adds photo opportunities, GrabPet vouchers and merchandise.
