Tulipmania 2026 Returns to Gardens by the Bay With Dutch Masterpieces and Vibrant Blooms

Tulipmania, one of Gardens by the Bay’s most beloved annual floral displays, is returning for its 12th edition from 24 April to 17 May 2026. This year’s showcase at the Flower Dome brings together vibrant tulip blooms and masterpieces from the Rijksmuseum, offering visitors a celebration of Dutch art, culture, and horticultural beauty right here in Singapore.

A Tribute to Dutch Art and Culture

Tulipmania 2026 draws inspiration from centuries of Dutch creativity, spanning the Golden Age masterpieces of Rembrandt and Johannes Vermeer to the bold geometric modernism of Piet Mondrian. The display reimagines iconic works through intricate floral interpretations, creating a unique fusion of fine art and nature that is unlike anything else on the island.

Visitors stepping into the Flower Dome will be greeted by a larger-than-life Delftware Tulipiere — a nod to the iconic blue-and-white pottery that has defined Dutch decorative arts for centuries. From there, the journey continues through a recreation of the Rijksmuseum, the Netherlands’ national museum of arts and history, brought to life with colourful blooms and immersive displays.

Windmills, Tulips, and Eleven Stunning Cultivars

One of the standout installations this year is a replica of the De Kat Windmill, famed as the world’s last working windmill used for paint production. Standing tall amidst a sea of colourful tulips, it makes for an unmissable photo opportunity and a fitting centrepiece for the Dutch-themed experience.

This edition showcases eleven carefully selected tulip cultivars, each adding its own splash of colour to the Flower Dome’s landscape. From deep reds and sunny yellows to soft pinks and vivid purples, the variety on display promises to delight flower enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

What You Need to Know Before Visiting

Tulipmania 2026 runs daily from 24 April to 17 May 2026, with opening hours from 9.00am to 9.00pm. The event is held at the Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay, located at 18 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018953. Admission starts from $8, and tickets can be purchased at the door or online via the Gardens by the Bay website.

Given the popularity of past editions, weekday mornings tend to be less crowded, making them ideal for a leisurely stroll through the displays. Photography lovers will want to arrive closer to golden hour in the late afternoon for the best lighting conditions inside the dome.
