SIPF marks a decade of the biennale and frames the edition as a survey of photography, memory and new beginnings, including a look at 25 years of Singapore photographic practice.

Exhibitions and venues

The festival spreads across multiple sites. Ticketed shows include Shop-House by DECK at 4 and 6 Lorong 24 Geylang, open Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm to 7pm, and galleries at SingPost Geylang Post Office on Geylang Road on the same hours. Many other exhibitions are free.

Shifting Images: Photography From Singapore 2000 to 2025 is already under way in stages, with chapters such as Image After Image already in the programme. A solo strand, Singapore Index, presents photographs by film-maker Tan Pin Pin. Korean photobook show FEM: Women, Lives, and Korean Photobooks runs from 16 October to 29 November.

Tickets and opening weekend

A Festival Pass costs S$50 general or S$40 concession, and is redeemable with the SG Culture Pass. Single-ticket access is S$15 for Shop-House by DECK only, or S$20 for both ticketed Geylang venues. Children 12 and under, seniors 60 and above, and Festival Pass holders enter those spaces free with valid identification.

The 10th SIPF Photo Market is on 17 and 18 October. An Asia Meet Symposium Pass is S$30 general or S$20 concession, with single talks at S$15. Portfolio Review programming also starts on 16 October.

Talks, walks and Geylang

The worlds we traverse, the worlds that linger runs from 17 October to 15 November. Guided walkthroughs across eight exhibitions start on 24 October, and artist Boris Eldagsen gives the keynote RIVALS: Photography vs. Promptography on 6 November.
