The Singapore Grand Prix drew 301,294 spectators over its sold-out race weekend from 9 to 11 October, the second-highest attendance in the race’s history. It is also the highest since the Marina Bay Street Circuit was changed in 2023.

The biggest crowd since the 2023 track change
The 2026 crowd beat last year’s 300,641 by 653. That 2025 figure was itself an 11.7 per cent rise on the 269,072 who came in 2024.
The 2023 track change came with the redevelopment of The Float at Marina Bay, and it cut the circuit park’s capacity. Singapore GP has since added nine grandstands and three hospitality areas, Observ@3, Drivers’ Right Lounge and Lounge+, to meet demand.
Hospitality attendance set a record this year. The offerings include the Formula 1 Paddock Club and TWENTY3, where pop-up restaurants are run by chefs with a combined 30 Michelin stars.
The first Sprint weekend
This was the 17th Singapore Grand Prix and the first with an F1 Sprint. Fans filled the grandstands and walkabout platforms for an incident-packed Sprint, won by Max Verstappen, who also took pole for the 62-lap Grand Prix.
Haze over the weekend
The crowd came out despite unhealthy air. The National Environment Agency’s 24-hour PSI peaked at 192 in central Singapore at 8pm on Friday 9 October, inside the unhealthy band of 101 to 200. It eased to 166 by Saturday evening and 147 on Sunday night.
New stages off the track
Off the track, the circuit park had a floating Barge Stage in Zone 1, with DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem and Rev Run on its deck, and an enlarged Waterside area in Zone 4 under the trees.
Race day on Sunday had Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson, James Arthur and Mark Ronson on the entertainment bill.
