Scoot flies the route with Airbus A320neo aircraft. The flights are on sale on Scoot’s website and mobile app, and through other channels progressively.

Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou province. Qingyan Ancient Town is one of China’s best-preserved historical towns, and Huangguoshu Waterfall, south-west of the city, is one of the largest waterfalls in Asia.

The new route takes Scoot to 81 weekly flights across 16 cities in mainland China. Its whole network grows to 86 destinations in 18 countries and territories across the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe.

Entry for Singapore passport holders

Singapore ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for mainland China for stays of up to 30 days. The mutual visa exemption between Singapore and China has been in force since 9 February 2024.

Six routes get more flights

The other changes add seats to beach and short-haul routes for year-end holiday travel. They start in October unless a later month is shown.

  • Phuket: 17 to 21 flights a week
  • Hat Yai: 12 to 14 flights a week
  • Okinawa: four to five flights a week
  • Clark: seven to 10 flights a week, from December 2026
  • Tiruchirappalli: 12 to 14 flights a week, from December 2026
  • Kota Kinabalu: 10 to 13 flights a week, from January 2027

Phu Quoc stays daily, but the aircraft changes. Scoot is gradually moving the route from the Embraer E190-E2 to the larger Airbus A320 family.

Fares and start dates

The S$158 Guiyang fare is one way, in Economy, and includes taxes. Phuket gains the most flights of any route on the list, with four more a week.

Clark, Tiruchirappalli and Kota Kinabalu keep their current frequencies until December or January.

All schedules are subject to government and regulatory approvals.
