Run for Inclusion 2026 will not go ahead on Saturday 7 November. Runninghour has moved its 12th edition to Saturday 23 January 2027, citing the haze and air quality concerns, and the race stays at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir with the same 4km, 8km and relay categories.

“Postponing Run for Inclusion was not an easy decision,” said Ong Meng Hong, chairman of Runninghour Co-operative Limited. “Poor air quality can affect everyone, especially some of our participants who may be more vulnerable. Many of our runners return year after year with their caregivers, and we want everyone to enjoy a safe and memorable day together.”
What happens to your entry
Nothing, if you can make the new date. Every registration carries over automatically and no action is needed from you, and all three categories remain the same. The one thing still open is flag-off times, which Runninghour says it will confirm closer to the date. The event page still shows the original plan, with the 8km and relay off at 4pm and the 4km at 4.15pm inside a 3pm to 6.30pm window, but treat those as the pattern rather than the final call.
If January does not work, the slot can go to a friend or family member, provided you registered before 23 October 2026, and only in the same category. The steps are:
- Forward your registration confirmation email to the person taking your place.
- They bring that forwarded email, the confirmation itself and their own identification document to the counter at race pack collection.
- The organising committee updates the registration with the new participant’s details there and then.
T-shirt size changes are subject to availability. There are no refunds, and Runninghour is straight about why: entry fees fund the 1,000 complimentary places it holds for persons with special needs and their caregivers. Cancelling a place does not put money back in your pocket, so if you registered before 23 October, passing the slot on is your only route out.

Categories and prices
Registration runs through Give.Asia and is open to runners aged 6 to 75, from able-bodied first-timers to corporate teams and school groups.
- 4km Run: one lap of Bedok Reservoir, S$38.
- 8km Run: two laps, S$58.
- Relay: a first for the event, with four runners covering 2km each, S$88 per team.
- PWSN and caregiver: free, 4km or 8km, with one caregiver allowed for each registered PWSN runner, drawn from 1,000 complimentary entries offered subject to availability.
Every entry comes with a finisher medal, event T-shirt, race tag and a limited-design blindfold. That blindfold is for the Blindfold Run, the event’s signature: sighted runners cover the route with their eyes covered while a fellow runner guides them, which is how many of Runninghour’s visually impaired members train. You opt in when you register.

A flat loop built for everyone
The reservoir loop is flat and accessible, so this is a gentle first event for new runners as much as a social 8km for regulars. The relay is the easy way in for an office or class that wants to turn up together without anyone committing to two laps.

Getting there
The nearest station is Bedok North MRT (DT29) on the Downtown Line. Leave by Exit A and it is a 700m walk, or one stop on bus 23 or 518. Services 8, 15, 23, 58 and 518 all stop right outside HomeTeamNS at stop 72179.
Do not drive to the clubhouse. There is no parking at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, which is the drop-off point only. The closest car parks are Ark @ KB and Blk 739/745 Bedok Reservoir Road, each a seven-minute walk away.
Race pack collection moves with the race: it now runs on 9 and 10 January 2027 at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, with details emailed to registered runners. Volunteers who signed up for November will be contacted to confirm the new date.
