FairPrice gives a S$5 return voucher for every S$50 spent in store until 9 November

FairPrice is giving a S$5 return voucher for every S$50 nett spent on a single in-store receipt until 9 November, at FairPrice, FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra and Unity stores. Each receipt earns a maximum of four vouchers, and any form of payment counts.

How the vouchers are earned

The promotion started on 29 October. Every S$50 of nett spend on one receipt earns one S$5 voucher, up to four vouchers a transaction, and vouchers are issued only while stocks last.

FairPrice Online orders do not earn vouchers. Scan & Go and Smart Cart transactions on the FairPrice Group app do, and so do digital pre-orders collected in store by 9 November. Those shoppers get digital vouchers in the app’s Voucher Wallet within four working days of the transaction.

What does not count towards the S$50

Beverage Container Return Scheme deposits are left out of the qualifying spend, along with cigarettes, 4D, Singapore Sweep and TOTO. So are FairPrice Group gift vouchers and gift cards, including top-ups and service fees.

Carrier bags, membership fees and consultation fees do not count. Nor do infant milk powder for babies up to 12 months, donation products and donation bundles.

Prescription medicines, pharmacy-only medicines and over-the-counter medicines are excluded as well. That rule applies at Unity pharmacies too.

Using the vouchers

A voucher works from the day after it is issued until 30 November, and that end date will not be extended. There is no minimum spend, and several vouchers can go on one bill.

Paper vouchers from a cashier or self-checkout counter work only at cashier or self-checkout counters. Digital vouchers from Scan & Go work only through Scan & Go, up to seven per transaction.

Smart Cart vouchers can be used at Smart Cart, self-checkout or a staffed cashier. A Link membership has to be added to the transaction, and up to seven vouchers are applied automatically, with the option to deselect any of them.

The vouchers cannot be used on FairPrice Online, exchanged for cash, gift cards or Linkpoints, or replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. They cannot be combined with any other discount voucher, and they do not pay for BCRS deposits, cigarettes, 4D, Singapore Sweep, TOTO, gift cards, non-merchandise charges, infant milk powder for babies up to 12 months or medicines.
