ONE Ocean: Every Action Ripples gives parents a new Science Centre option for the June holiday calendar, especially for children who respond better to movement, sound and big-screen visuals than to static displays.

The exhibition opens on 30 May 2026 at Science Centre Singapore’s Annexe Halls, according to the official Science Centre page. Tickets start from $13, with the general exhibition listed for ages five and above and the VR experience recommended for ages nine and above.
What The Exhibition Covers

Science Centre describes ONE Ocean as a world-first exhibition that brings 20 years of Tara Ocean Foundation research into a multi-sensory format. The programme combines 360-degree projections, spatial audio, free-roaming VR and interactive marine research elements.
The zones include a replica Tara Polar Station, a 360-degree journey through the seven wonders of the ocean, sensory sections on ocean sound and myth, and a Singapore-facing segment called Tides of the Red Dot.
Age Fit For Children
The general exhibition is listed for ages five and above, which makes it more suitable for primary-school children and older preschoolers who can manage a 60-to-100-minute visit. The VR element is not for every child: Science Centre recommends it for ages nine and above, with children aged nine to twelve accompanied by a parent or guardian for that segment.
Parents should also note the official advisory that the exhibition is not recommended for strollers because some areas may require frequent stopping or manoeuvring. A carrier is likely more practical for younger siblings.

Why This Works For A Family Day Out
The strongest parent-friendly angle is that the exhibition mixes entertainment with a clear science topic. Children get the spectacle of whales, Arctic research, plankton and immersive ocean worlds, while adults get a climate and marine-science frame that is more substantial than a simple screen show.
If you are building a wider school-holiday plan, this sits neatly alongside other family listings LBRD has covered, including Children’s Season 2026.
Visit Notes
Science Centre lists the operating hours as Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4.15pm. It is closed on Mondays except public holidays and gazetted school holidays. Photography and videography are allowed for personal use, but flash photography and tripods are not allowed.
The early-bird ticket note also mentions complimentary Science Centre admission and an exclusive keychain while the offer is available, so families should compare the event ticket page before deciding whether to bundle the visit with the main Science Centre galleries.
