Gardens Mid-Autumn lanterns stay free to 27 September with kids Flower Dome free for residents

Gardens by the Bay is running free Mid-Autumn lantern displays from 12 to 27 September 2026, 6pm to 10pm, across Golden Garden, Supertree Grove, Bayfront Plaza and Flower Dome. Singapore-resident children aged 12 and below also get free Flower Dome entry from 5 to 27 September, which overlaps Lilytopia inside the Dome.

Outdoor trail

The evening trail is free and built around Fenbao-themed lantern scenes at Moonlit Garden, The Voyage, Path of Wonder, Waterfall Fantasy and other stops through Supertree Grove and the Colonnade. Only battery-operated lanterns are allowed. The Gardens asks visitors to take the MRT to Bayfront or Gardens by the Bay because car parks fill quickly. During the Mid-Autumn window, Borealis is retimed to 9pm to 9.15pm.

Flower Dome for kids

Singapore residents aged 12 and below enter Flower Dome free from 5 to 27 September. Accompanying adults pay the standard resident rate, and organised group visits are excluded. Lilytopia’s Ancient Egypt floral display runs through 27 September. Fenbao Adventure Corner at The Baobabs is free once you are inside, 9am to 9pm across those dates.

Lantern giveaway this coming weekend

Complimentary lanterns are handed out in Flower Dome’s South American Garden from 5pm to 7pm on 19 and 20 September, and again on 26 and 27 September, while stocks last. DIY lantern painting is free on 26 and 27 September from 1pm to 3pm, with the last session starting at 2.30pm. Marketplace food and carnival rides at Supertree Grove carry separate charges. The free outdoor lantern window closes on 27 September 2026.
