IKEA Singapore is listing a white PAX / FORSAND wardrobe combination at S$610 for the 150 x 60 x 201 cm size.
The figure appeared on ikea.com/sg on Saturday (Aug 29) under article number 195.006.96. Prices on the page can change.

WHAT S$610 COVERS
The combination is sold as a set of parts, not a single cabinet slab. IKEA’s product page lists one PAX wardrobe frame at 100 x 58 x 201 cm, one PAX frame at 50 x 58 x 201 cm, three FORSAND doors at 50 x 195 cm each, three KOMPLEMENT soft-closing hinges, two KOMPLEMENT clothes rails at 100 cm, one clothes rail at 50 cm, one KOMPLEMENT shelf at 100 x 58 cm, and three shelves at 50 x 58 cm.
Overall measurements on the same page are width 150.0 cm, depth 60.0 cm and height 201.2 cm. The listing carries a 10-year guarantee, subject to IKEA’s guarantee brochure. Adjustable feet are included so the frames can sit on an uneven HDB floor.

WHAT THE FIGURE LEAVES OUT
Interior accessories that organise the inside of the wardrobe are sold separately. Knobs and handles are also sold separately. Delivery and assembly are not baked into the S$610 sticker.
A taller white PAX / FORSAND combination at 150 x 60 x 236 cm is listed on the same page at S$125 more than the 201 cm size, or S$735 if the uplift holds when the cart is built. That taller option is the one to check against a bedroom ceiling height before anyone orders the shorter set and hopes the gap disappears.

WHY THE DEPTH MATTERS IN AN HDB BEDROOM
Sixty centimetres of depth is the constraint that decides whether the unit clears a bed walkway in a typical 3-room or 4-room bedroom. The combination is freestanding. That matters beside a household shelter wall, where My Nice Home’s renovation guide, last updated on 24 June 2026 and checked on Saturday (Aug 29), says the walls must not be hacked or drilled and the shelter door must stay intact and able to open and close.
HDB’s building-works page describes the household shelter as a civil defence room with a steel door and strengthened floor, walls and ceiling. A freestanding wardrobe that does not cut into those surfaces is a different job from built-in carpentry fixed into the shelter. Built-in storage that needs wall works still sits under HDB renovation rules and the Directory of Renovation Contractors, covered in Little Big Red Dot’s five-day neighbour notice file and the hidden storage carpentry brief.
WHO THE SET SUITS
The S$610 set suits a bedroom wall where the household wants hanging space and a few shelves without opening a full carpentry quote. It also suits flats where the shelter wall cannot take drilled built-ins beyond what HDB and SCDF allow.
Households that need floor-to-ceiling built-ins, wet-area cabinets, or a one-piece look flush to the ceiling should treat this listing as a comparison price, not the finished room. Those jobs usually move into an interior-design package and HDB permits where wall, electrical or wet works apply.
STORES
IKEA’s stores page, checked on Saturday (Aug 29), lists Tampines and Alexandra from 11am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends. Jurong is listed daily from 10am to 10pm.
The product page also notes that the wardrobe frames use particleboard and fibreboard with a honeycomb paper filling made from 100 per cent recycled paper. That construction detail does not change HDB renovation rules. It does explain why the S$610 figure is a furniture price, not a renovation bill that covers hacking, waterproofing or electrical points.
Households comparing this set against a carpenter’s wardrobe wall should keep the scopes separate. The IKEA combination stops at the listed frames, doors, hinges, rails and shelves. A built-in quote usually adds wall fixing, filler panels to the ceiling, lighting cut-outs and site labour. Little Big Red Dot’s hidden-storage brief covers that carpentry path. This file stays on the published S$610 sticker and what the brand page says is missing from it.
IKEA Tampines sits at 60 Tampines North Drive 2. IKEA Alexandra is at 317 Alexandra Road. IKEA Jurong is inside JEM at 50 Jurong Gateway Road, entered from Level 2 on the stores page checked on Saturday (Aug 29). Stock and home-delivery fees are store or cart dependent and were not frozen into this article beyond the product price on the combination page.
