OneMotoring has opened the second September COE bidding exercise from 12 noon today, Monday 21 September 2026, through 4pm on Wednesday 23 September.
Bids go in through OneMotoring only. Premiums for this exercise will not clear until the window closes on Wednesday.
Quotas for this exercise
Category A has 1,193 certificates. Cat B has 927. Cat C (goods vehicles and buses) has 318. Cat D (motorcycles) has 522. Cat E (open, all except motorcycles) has 269.
Those are the supply numbers for this round. They sit beside last exercise’s quotas, which were 1,195 / 934 / 310 / 514 / 300 for A through E.
Where the last round finished
The September first exercise closed at 4pm on 9 September. Final quota premiums were Cat A S$133,009, Cat B S$135,001, Cat C S$93,101, Cat D S$12,556 and Cat E S$137,890.
Cat A’s S$133,009 print is the figure buyers still use as the recent floor for smaller cars and electric cars that fall under Cat A. Cat B and Cat E cleared a little higher.
How bidding runs
Open bidding stays live until Wednesday 4pm. Dealers and private bidders submit and revise through the OneMotoring COE board. Unused quota from earlier rounds does not rewrite the current category totals shown above.
Until Wednesday’s close, the only firm numbers for this exercise are the quotas. Last exercise’s premiums are history; this week’s clearing prices wait for the final results.
