BYD by 1826 lists the Atto 1 Guaranteed COE launch price at S$172,888, while the non-guaranteed Savers path is S$164,888, as this week’s COE open bidding closes today, Wednesday 23 September 2026, at 4pm.
Bidding opened at noon on Monday 21 September. OneMotoring shows this exercise’s quotas at Cat A 1,193, Cat B 927, Cat C 318, Cat D 522 and Cat E 269. The last Quota Premium in Cat A was S$133,009 from the 9 September exercise.
Guaranteed COE versus Savers
The Guaranteed COE figure is S$8,000 above Savers. On paper that is the premium for locking a certificate into the deal instead of riding this week’s open bid. Savers still needs a successful Cat A COE; the Atto 1 sits in Cat A on the dealer’s own sheet, with maximum power listed at 65kW.
Both launch prices already bake in published rebates and discounts on the BYD by 1826 page. Monthly estimates on that page start from about S$1,432 for Guaranteed COE and S$1,366 for Savers, based on a 40 per cent downpayment and a seven-year loan at 2.28 per cent a year. Those are dealer illustrations, not bank offers.
What the Atto 1 is on paper
BYD calls it its most affordable Singapore model: a five-seat electric hatchback, 3,990mm long, with a 43.2kWh Blade Battery and up to 322km WLTP range. Boot space is 308 litres with a 60/40 split-fold rear bench. The cabin sheet lists a 10.1-inch touchscreen plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other Cat A launches this month sit higher. Mercedes-Benz’s CLA Shooting Brake is a different product and price band; the Atto 1’s story today is the bid clock and the Guaranteed COE line, not a cross-brand shootout.
Today’s 4pm close
Individuals bid through DBS/POSB ATMs during the exercise. Corporate and dealer bids go through DBS, UOB or Maybank internet banking. Results land after the 4pm close. COE premiums move every exercise; the on-the-road number that matters is the one the authorised dealer publishes for the certificate you actually secure.
