The iCAUR V23 range challenge has produced a headline number: 516.4km on a single charge, more than 65% above the electric SUV’s official WLTP Combined rating of 312km. Vertex Automobile, the authorised distributor of iCAUR in Singapore, released the full results of the Beyond Limits One Charge Challenge on 19 October 2026.

How the iCAUR V23 range challenge worked
Ten journalists and content creators each received a V23 charged to 100% and kept it for a couple of days. They drove as they normally would, on routes that ranged from city streets and heartland estates to highway stretches across the island. Charging was not allowed during the loan, so every figure comes from a single charge.
Results were measured as distance driven plus the remaining Dynamic Range shown on the car’s display at the end of each drive. Dynamic Range adjusts to the driver’s own style, so the total reflects the range each person actually had available.

The results: nine of ten beat the WLTP rating
SgCarMart’s Goh Zhi Xuan took the top spot, covering 489.4km with 27km of Dynamic Range left, for a total of 516.4km. Learns Marketing followed with 463km, and MrChia.sg took third with 447.8km. Pin Prestige (428.8km), Auto App (412.1km) and Officialsecs (381.9km) rounded out the top six.

Nine of the ten participants beat the 312km WLTP Combined figure. Four drove further than 312km on distance alone, before any remaining Dynamic Range was counted. Collectively, the group covered more than 2,800km, and the average total range was 400.2km, about 28% above the rating. The only result below the rating was Bobby Tonelli’s 305.8km, a shortfall of 1.99%.
Goh said that getting the most range from an electric car differs from a fuel economy challenge, as minimising stops matters far less than it does with an engine. He added that the V23’s seats stayed comfortable through the extensive driving.

What it means for Singapore drivers
WLTP figures are lab-based, and many buyers want to know how a car fares on real roads. This challenge is organiser-run and the participants were invited media and creators, so treat it as a useful indication rather than an independent test. Still, the spread of drivers and routes gives a clearer picture than a single run.
Ms Sng Khai Hing, Executive Director of Vertex Automobile, said that what stood out was how consistently the V23 performed across ten different drivers, routes and driving habits. Daren Yoong, one of the participants, said real-world range beating WLTP provides peace of mind for owners.
