Planet [wanderer] comes to Esplanade Theatre on 29 and 30 May 2026 as part of SIFA. The 60-minute work brings together choreographer Damien Jalet and scenographer Kohei Nawa, placing eight dancers in a world of shifting forms, textures and planetary imagery.
The ticketing page lists performances at 8pm on both nights, with tickets from S$40.80 before booking fees.

Why Dance Fans Should Notice
This is a high-visual dance work built around bodies, materials and scenography rather than a straight narrative. The synopsis describes dancers moving like reeds between fragility, power, survival and evolution.
The advisory is important: the listing notes nudity and loud music, with Advisory 16. That makes it better suited to adult audiences and older teens who are comfortable with contemporary performance.
Booking Notes
Esplanade Theatre is an easy MRT trip via City Hall or Esplanade, but weekend dining around the precinct can be busy. Book dinner before or after the show with enough buffer for bag checks and seating.
