i Light Singapore 2026 returns from 5 to 28 June, turning Marina Bay and Raffles Place into a night-time light art trail. The festival light-up timing is 7.30pm to 10.30pm daily, which makes it easy to pair with dinner or a waterfront walk.
This year’s edition features 14 light art installations by 17 artists, with more than 10 artists from Singapore and Asia in the line-up.
Best Way To Plan The Route
Start from the installation you most want to see, then work outwards by walking route instead of trying to cover every stop in one hurry. Marina Bay is manageable, but the satellite site at Raffles Place means comfortable footwear matters.
Families should go earlier in the evening before the crowd thickens. Photographers may prefer later slots when the waterfront is darker and the artworks stand out more clearly.
Why The 2026 Theme Matters
The curatorial theme is Movement, so expect works that respond to motion, rhythm, flow and human interaction rather than static light displays only. That helps explain why several installations are participatory and why the festival continues to frame sustainability as part of the experience.
