The year-end school holidays just got a plan. Zoolympix is back at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve as Zoolympix: Stars of Mandai Festive Challenge, running from 7 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, and it is bigger than last year.
Kids aged three to 12 take on 10 physical challenges, each one based on the abilities of a well-known Mandai animal. Think swinging like an orangutan, balancing like a red panda or protecting an egg like a king penguin.
The 10 Zoolympix challenges
Zoolympix Village sits on the East Lawn at Mandai Wildlife East and is open daily from 10am to 7pm (last entry 6.30pm). Each station has an easier version for ages three to seven and a harder one for ages eight to 12.

- Ah Meng’s Canopy Gym: swing from ring to ring with a durian-filled backpack
- Jubilee’s Savanna Trek: cross hurdles on giraffe-like hooves
- Canola’s Meal Maze: steer food through a manatee’s digestive tract
- Karma’s Treetop Balance: cross beams while collecting bamboo
- Arlo’s Egg Relay: waddle in penguin flippers with an egg on your feet
- Lady’s Mighty Kick: see if your kick matches a cassowary’s
- Neha’s Food Challenge: jump for food like an elephant’s trunk
- Radin’s Ant Hunt: fish up ants with a magnetic rod, pangolin-style
- Bayu’s Jungle Maze: find the tapir’s favourite food
- Kisala’s Splash Reveal: uncover hidden okapis with a water pen

Children collect a stamp for each challenge on their activity card. Get all 10 and they earn a Zoolympian medal, which is a strong motivator if you have a competitive one at home.

Zoolympix Outposts in all five parks
Already have park tickets? Zoolympix Outposts at Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild Adventure are included with admission. Here, kids can meet the real animals behind the games and try bonus challenges. It follows on nicely from Mandai’s Discover Our Stars’ Personalities programme, and okapi fans can read about the first okapi born in Southeast Asia.

Christmas across the reserve
Wild Side, Best Side: A Wilder Christmas Awaits runs over the same dates in Mandai Wildlife East and West, which are free to enter. Expect festive decorations, workshops and more than 20 participating dining outlets. Spend S$50 in a day (up to two receipts) for a scratch card and a chance to win stays at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree.
