The Toys”R”Us NETS promotion runs from 27 to 30 August 2026, giving shoppers 20% off storewide when they spend at least $30 on an eligible NETS payment, with Star Card members getting another 10% off on top. It is a short window, but a genuinely useful one if you already had a toy purchase on the cards.
This is a pure payment-method promotion rather than a clearance sale, which means the shelves are fully stocked rather than picked over. That makes it a better bet than a closing-down sale if you are hunting for a specific item, like a particular Lego set or a board game a child has been asking for.
How the Toys”R”Us NETS Discount Works
Spend $30 or more in one transaction and pay with an eligible NETS method, and 20% comes off the total bill. Star Card members stack an extra 10% on top of that, and signing up for a Star Card is free and can be done at the counter if you are not already a member.

Not every tap-to-pay method qualifies, and this is where shoppers most often trip up. What’s Excluded
A few categories sit outside the discount, and they happen to be the ones collectors care about most. Nintendo Switch consoles, games and accessories are excluded, along with Nintendo plushies, Beyblade items and trading cards. Toys”R”Us gift cards are also excluded, and existing gift cards or Star Points cannot be used to pay for a promotional purchase.
If your shopping list is built around any of these categories, it is worth checking with staff before assuming the discount applies. Everything else on the shop floor, from construction sets to outdoor play items, should be fair game.

The promotion covers all 15 Toys”R”Us stores and official pop-ups islandwide, including Suntec City, Tampines Mall, United Square, Paragon, VivoCity, Parkway Parade, Waterway Point, Forum, Great World City, JEM, Jewel, City Square Mall, The Clementi Mall, Changi City Point and Kinex. With that many locations in play, there is a good chance one falls along a route you were already taking this weekend, whether that is a mall run or a school holiday outing.
