Singapore Airlines will increase flights between Singapore and Amsterdam from 1 August to 22 October 2026. The airline says the route will move to 10 weekly services during that period, up from the current daily schedule.
The change is aimed at stronger demand between Asia-Pacific and Europe. For Singapore travellers, the immediate benefit is choice: more departure-day options, more connecting possibilities and potentially easier planning for late-summer or autumn Europe trips.
What Changes
A daily route gives seven weekly choices. Ten weekly services add three more flights, which can make a difference if you are trying to avoid awkward leave patterns or align with cruise, conference, school-holiday or train connections in Europe.
Amsterdam is also a useful arrival point for travellers heading beyond the Netherlands. Schiphol connects well to rail and short-haul flights, so extra Singapore capacity may help readers building itineraries that include Belgium, Germany, France or Scandinavia.
- Increased frequency window: 1 August to 22 October 2026.
- New frequency: 10 weekly Singapore-Amsterdam services.
- Previous baseline stated by SIA: daily flights.
Booking Notes
Travellers should compare both price and arrival timing. A cheaper fare is less useful if it lands too late for onward trains, while a slightly better-timed flight can save one hotel night or a long airport wait.
Read the SIA Amsterdam announcement and the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER fleet page if cabin choice matters. More planning guides are in our Travel section.
- Compare weekday and weekend departures.
- Check onward rail timing before buying a non-refundable fare.
- Families should price seat selection and baggage together with the fare.
