Samsung TV owners in Singapore can watch aespa’s Seoul tour concert for free from 6pm tonight, 26 September, when Samsung TV Plus premieres 2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR: SYNK : COMPLæXITY in SEOUL on its SMTOWN channel. Samsung Singapore announced the premiere on 18 September.
The concert returns every Saturday at 6pm Singapore time (7pm in Seoul) until 24 October. There is no subscription and no ticket. Samsung TV Plus is ad-supported, so ads may appear.
Part of a monthly K-pop series
The aespa show is the latest instalment of Monthly SM Concert, a tie-up between Samsung TV Plus and SM Entertainment that launched earlier this year. Each month brings a new concert from an SM artist, with encore programming alongside.
Singapore is one of seven markets on the SMTOWN channel for this run. The others are South Korea, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. In South Korea the concert also airs on the Samsung TV Network.
“K-pop concerts bring together powerful performances, striking visuals, and the energy of fans, and the viewing experience should reflect all of those elements,” said Gwiho Lee, executive vice-president of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business.
What you need to watch
Samsung TV Plus comes built into Samsung smart TVs. It needs an internet connection and a Samsung account, but no extra box, download or credit card. You open it from the app bar on the TV’s home screen.
To find the SMTOWN channel, bring up the programme guide. On a Samsung One Remote, press and hold the CH button. On a standard remote, press Guide. CH up and down then flips through channels.
Picture and sound
Samsung is pitching two TV features alongside the broadcast. Samsung Upscaling sharpens lower-resolution video so it looks cleaner on a large screen.
The second is Eclipsa Audio, a 3D audio format developed by Samsung and Google on the open Immersive Audio Model and Formats (IAMF) standard. It adjusts spatial sound to the room it is playing in. Eclipsa Audio playback needs both supported content and a compatible Samsung TV.
