Rail and selected bus services run later on National Day Eve, 8 August 2026, but each advertised time belongs to a specific line, departure station and direction.
Changi Airport trains and Bukit Panjang LRT are not extended by SMRT.
A last train is a station event
The time applies where the notice names a departure station, not to boarding anywhere on the line at that same clock time. Estimate travel to that station and allow entry, platform and crowd buffer. (SMRT National Day Eve extension)
SMRT lists 12.30am departures from City Hall toward Jurong East, Marina South Pier, Pasir Ris and Tuas Link. Choose the direction before reaching the paid area.

Circle Line ends earlier
The listed Circle Line departures are 11.57pm from Marina Bay to HarbourFront and 11.30pm from HarbourFront to Marina Bay. Do not anchor a Circle Line connection on the later NSL/EWL time. (SBS Transit service notice)
The Thomson-East Coast Line leaves Woodlands North toward Bayshore at midnight and Bayshore toward Woodlands North at 12.12am. Calculate the local station pass-through rather than assuming 12.12am everywhere.
Example: Someone at the National Stadium who needs Circle Line to HarbourFront cannot use the 12.30am City Hall headline as the Circle Line deadline. The route needs the earlier CCL departure, walking time and a buffer before the platform closes.
Feeder extensions are selective
SMRT extends named bus services from Boon Lay, Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang and Woodlands, with final times from 1.20am to 1.40am. Check whether the exact feeder number is listed.
Crowds, closures and missed transfers can erase a narrow connection. Set a leave-by time and a fallback taxi, ride-hail or night-bus plan.
