Luckin Coffee has opened its 100th store in Singapore, in Bugis, the chain announced on 28 September 2026. That is 100 outlets in a little over three years.
Singapore was the brand’s first market outside China when it arrived in 2023. More than 1.9 million customers have bought from Luckin here since, and the local team is now over 860 people.
A Bugis store built to LEED Gold

Bugis is a transport hub with a young, mixed crowd, which is exactly the customer Luckin goes after. The 100th outlet is built to LEED Gold certification standards, the green building rating, and it is the store Luckin picked to mark the milestone.

The feature corner is the part you will notice first. A long wall of patterned letters spells out SINGAPORE above the banquette seating, a Merlion stands in for the S, and a round 100 badge sits inside the O. Terracotta floor tiles and ceiling fans keep the room closer to a shophouse than a grab-and-go kiosk.
Representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, the Economic Development Board, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Temasek, CapitaLand and the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) joined Luckin’s executives at the opening ceremony.
Pandan, Milo and two million cups
Luckin has launched more than 130 products in Singapore, including local-only pandan, brown sugar and Milo series. Two drinks carry the business: the Coconut Latte and the Little Butter Latte have each passed 2 million cups sold here.
Since January 2026, every drink on the Singapore menu has been rated Nutri-Grade C or above under the Ministry of Health’s mandatory grading system. In practice, nothing on the board carries a D, the grade barred from advertising in Singapore.
The beans come from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia and Yunnan in China, and the coconuts from Indonesia. Luckin uses the size of its orders to build direct links with growers in those regions.
Hospitals, campuses and 38,000 stores worldwide
The Singapore network now runs across business districts, housing estates, transport hubs, hospitals and universities. Worldwide, Luckin operates more than 38,000 stores across China, Singapore, Malaysia and the United States, and has served over 500 million customers.
Chairman David Li sees Singapore as proof that the model works abroad: “Three years on, that bold step has paid off.” He puts the growth down to adapting its digital tools, its menu and its supply chain to the Singapore market.
To mark the 100th store, Luckin has started a long-term partnership with IMH and its affiliated charity, the Woodbridge Hospital Charity Fund, to raise public awareness of mental health. The chain has already sold art merchandise made by IMH mental health service users in its outlets.
Luckin was also the coffee partner for the Chinese Embassy’s reception for the 77th anniversary of China’s National Day, in the year China and Singapore mark 36 years of diplomatic ties.
