IKEA Christmas 2026 Singapore: VINTERFINT trees from S$29.90, a Stockholm lottery and Santa’s Cabin

IKEA Christmas 2026 Singapore is officially on, and the Christmas shop at Tampines, Alexandra and Jurong is already stacked with this year’s VINTERFINT decorations and STRÅLA lights. The headline numbers: a 150cm artificial tree from S$29.90, a Stockholm air ticket lottery that runs until 20 December, and an IKEA Family Christmas buffet at S$29.90 per adult. Here is what is worth knowing before you make the trip.

IKEA Christmas 2026 Singapore: trees and decorations

This year’s VINTERFINT range leans on Swedish folk motifs, with flowers, birds and animals done in red, white and green. IKEA lists 178 pieces in the collection online, but some decorations, lights and gift wrap are sold only in stores, so the physical Christmas shop has more than the website.

Start with the tree. All three VINTERFINT artificial trees are rated for indoor and outdoor use, which helps if your corridor or balcony gets the festive treatment too.

  • VINTERFINT artificial tree, 150cm: S$29.90 (the budget pick)
  • VINTERFINT artificial tree, 150cm, second design: S$59.90
  • VINTERFINT artificial tree, 180cm: S$69.90
  • VINTERFINT top star, gold, 25cm: S$14.90
  • VINTERFINT red bauble garland, 2.2m: S$8.90
  • VINTERFINT glass baubles, 3.5cm: S$13.90 for 20
  • VINTERFINT candy cane ornaments, 8cm: S$9.90 for three

For lights, the new STRÅLA battery-operated chains range from S$3.90 for a micro multicolour string to S$19.90 for the candy or flower versions. Battery-operated means no hunting for a socket behind the TV console, which is handy in most HDB living rooms. If you prefer a real tree, IKEA says live Noble Fir trees of 1.5m to 1.8m arrive at the end of November, and IKEA Family members get a S$10 IKEA gift card with each one (terms apply).

The Swedish Christmas Lottery: spend S$150, win a trip to Stockholm

Spend S$150 or more on home furnishings in a single transaction from 2 November to 20 December 2026 and you are entered automatically. The prize is a pair of economy class Turkish Airlines tickets to Stockholm. The catch: only IKEA Family members qualify, and it is free to sign up.

  • Eligible at IKEA Tampines, IKEA Alexandra, IKEA Jurong and IKEA Online
  • Gift cards, IKEA Food, and services like delivery, assembly and installation do not count
  • You cannot combine or split receipts, so plan one bigger basket rather than three small ones
  • Your 10-digit transaction number on the receipt or invoice is your entry number
  • The winning number goes up on the IKEA Singapore website on 23 December 2026 at 7pm

Keep that receipt. The winner has to bring the original to IKEA Tampines Exchange & Returns between 24 December 2026 and 3 January 2027, or the prize is forfeited. The tickets must be issued by 31 March 2027 and flown by 30 November 2027, and taxes, visa fees and travel insurance are on you.

Santa’s Cabin, snow and movies in store

The in-store activities are free and open to all customers, not just members. Santa’s Cabin photo sessions last 45 minutes each:

  • IKEA Tampines, Level 4 room setting (SE02): 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm
  • IKEA Alexandra, Level 2 store entrance: 13 December, 2pm and 4pm
  • IKEA Jurong, Level 2 living room setting (L03): 20 December, 2pm and 4pm

Tampines also gets a Snow Experience at the Level 1 entrance on 4 to 6 and 11 to 13 December, from 6pm to 8.45pm. Sessions start every 30 minutes and last 15 minutes. There is also Christmas Movie Time at the Level 4 living room setting (L04) on the same weekend dates as Santa, 1pm to 3.30pm. For more December plans with the kids, see our Christmas 2026 family dates.

Festive food and the IKEA Family Christmas buffet

From 9 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, the Swedish Restaurant adds a Rosemary Chicken set (S$15.90 for IKEA Family, S$18.70 regular) and a Boneless Pork Knuckle set (S$21.90 for IKEA Family, S$25.70 regular). Both come with mushroom soup and a mini Christmas log cake. A Christmas cold plate is S$7.90 and the log cake alone is S$4.90.

The IKEA Family Christmas buffet costs S$29.90 for adults and S$15.90 for children under 12, and kids under four eat free. Tickets are sold only at each store’s Swedish Restaurant cashier, so be a bit kiasu about the opening date:

  • IKEA Jurong, Friday 4 December: tickets from 5 November, one seating at 7.30pm to 9pm
  • IKEA Alexandra, Friday 11 December: tickets from 12 November, seatings at 5pm and 7.30pm
  • IKEA Tampines, Friday 18 December: tickets from 17 November, seatings at 5pm and 7.30pm

No-shows are not refunded or moved to another session, and takeaways are not allowed. If you are already watching IKEA prices this month, our round-up of IKEA Family November prices covers the items on offer until 30 November. Want something less flat-pack? The Christmas markets in Singapore this year start soon too.
