Healthier SG Screening: who qualifies for S$0 or S$5 tests and how to book

Healthier SG Screening still offers subsidised cardiovascular, cervical and colorectal checks for eligible Singapore Citizens at CHAS GP clinics, with enrolled patients able to pay S$0 for covered tests at their Healthier SG clinic.

The visit costs S$0 for eligible citizens already enrolled with Healthier SG when they screen at their enrolled clinic, covering the eligible tests in that visit plus one follow-up consultation if needed. Pioneer Generation cardholders pay S$0, Merdeka Generation and CHAS Blue or Orange cardholders pay S$2, and other eligible Singapore Citizens or CHAS Green holders pay S$5 at participating CHAS GPs when they are not on the enrolled S$0 rate.

Who can enrol

Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents aged 40 and above can enrol in Healthier SG on the HealthHub app. Once you receive MOH’s SMS invitation, the steps are: open HealthHub, choose a Healthier SG clinic, then book the fully subsidised first Health Plan consultation. Caregivers can be added in HealthHub to enrol on someone else’s behalf. Anyone still waiting for an SMS can request one at go.gov.sg/healthiersg-sms-invite or call 6325 9220.

How to book the screen

Book the recommended tests on the Health Appointment System through HealthHub or book.health.gov.sg, then bring your NRIC and any CHAS, Merdeka or Pioneer card on the day. Recommended tests depend on age, sex, existing conditions and the date of your last screen; HealthHub’s screening guide covers adults from age 18. Breast cancer screening under the programme is only at selected polyclinics, with separate published rates (S$0 for eligible Healthier SG-enrolled citizens, S$25 for Pioneer Generation, S$37.50 for Merdeka Generation, S$50 for other citizens and S$75 for Permanent Residents).
