Changi Experience Studio hosts a Halloween market with 35 local brands at Jewel on 31 October and 1 November

Changi Experience Studio at Jewel Changi Airport turns into a Halloween market on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, with 35 local brands, craft workshops and trick-or-treat rounds. Called Haunts & Handmade, the event runs inside the attraction at unit 04-300 on Level 4 of Jewel, from 10am to 8pm on both days.

Tickets and S$10 in event credits

Halloween bundles cost S$34.90 for one adult, one child and one plush keychain, S$29.90 for an adult with a keychain, and S$19.90 for a child or senior with a keychain. An adult and child or senior pair costs S$25, and a single adult ticket costs S$20.

Every adult ticket comes with S$10 in event credits for the market booths. Each credit is worth S$1, and up to three credits can be spent at any one vendor. The event tickets and credits are sold only on the Changi App, which needs a free Changi Rewards account. Changi Experience Studio tickets bought on other platforms still get visitors in on both days, without the credits.

A regular Changi Experience Studio ticket is enough to enter and shop. Some booths sit just outside the attraction and are open to anyone. The market is cashless, taking PayNow, and credit cards at selected booths.

The two keychains, Captain Boo and Pompkin the Explorer, are limited editions and measure 12cm.

The 35 brands

Food and drink booths include Tirato, which sells tiramisu in classic, matcha and pistachio flavours with Halloween versions; Matcha Hour, which has a Spooky Matcha Latte topped with a piped ghost; Gettin Caffeinated, with a Pistachio Midnight Cloud; Corner8 Matcha; Two of Us Bakes; Elevation Roastery and Dapiku Sweets.

Makers include Nowlater Studio, which makes perfumes and room sprays in scents such as Kaya Toast and Mango Pudding; TAP SPACE, which designs keychains and cardholders inspired by public transport; Rokku Gem, a Singapore character trio based on local snacks; and crochet brands Dilazypanda, Quirky.knots and xin.persona. Clik Clak, The Resin Monster and Little Shake Shop sell clickers, charms and shaker keychains, and The Little Potter sells handmade pots, planters and plates.

Changi Airport Group runs two booths of its own: Patch & Pick, with Changi gifts and Buddy Bear keepsakes, and Pick & Plant, with plants from Changi’s horticulture team.

Workshops, games and a costume contest

Workshop tickets are sold on site and cost extra. The DIY Boo-tanical workshop, where children paint a Halloween pot and plant it, costs S$12 and runs at 2.30pm and 6pm. Decorating a pumpkin trick-or-treat bag costs S$9, with sessions at 1pm and 4.30pm. The Spooky Beads Trio, three Hama bead designs, costs S$12. Children aged five and above can take part on their own.

Inside the studio, airport-themed games include a Runway Race and a Smile Challenge. A Haunt and Hunt stamp card collects a stamp with every booth purchase, and completing two lines enters visitors for a mystery prize.

Visitors who post a costume photo taken at Changi Experience Studio on Facebook or Instagram with #ChangiExperienceStudio and #HauntsHandmade on either day enter the Trick-or-Chic best-dressed contest, with one winner a day. Toy weapons, replica guns and props that look like security threats are banned at the airport.
