BIGBANG’s two National Stadium concerts on Saturday and Sunday, 17 and 18 October, are going ahead under a haze plan. Promoter AEG Presents Asia posted haze advice for fans on 15 October, The Straits Times reported, and The Kallang’s haze management policy sets the line: if the 24-hour PSI goes above 300, all indoor and outdoor activities at the hub are suspended.

Neither show has been cancelled or postponed, and the BIGBANG concerts run as planned on both nights.
What the promoter wants fans to do
Concert-goers should plan arrival times and routes to cut time spent outdoors. The Straits Times reported that AEG advises fans sensitive to haze to consider wearing a mask. Anyone on regular medication should bring it.
Under the same advisory, water bottles are allowed, but not glass or steel ones, so a plastic bottle is the safe choice. Bottles can be refilled inside the venue. The promoter also asks fans to avoid long stretches outdoors and to seek medical help if they feel unwell during the show.
How The Kallang decides
The Kallang ties its response to the 24-hour PSI, alongside advisories from the authorities:
- PSI 0 to 100: all venues open and programmes run as planned
- PSI 101 to 200: all venues open, with patrons urged to take precautions outdoors
- PSI 201 to 300: all outdoor activities suspended, including at the OCBC Aquatic Centre
- PSI above 300: all indoor and outdoor activities suspended
The Water Sports Centre has already suspended operations until further notice because of poor visibility.
Where the PSI stands
At 5am on 16 October, the 24-hour PSI on data.gov.sg was 219 in the central region, which covers Kallang, with 190 in the west, 189 in the east, 176 in the south and 143 in the north. Central sits in the very unhealthy band, 81 points below the 300 suspension line.
