Longchamp My Pliage pop-up Singapore lets you design your own Le Pliage at Raffles City until 18 November

If your Le Pliage has been through one too many school runs and budget flights, here is a reason to replace it with something nobody else owns. The Longchamp My Pliage pop-up Singapore stop is open at Raffles City until 18 November 2026, and it lets you design the famous folding nylon bag yourself, from body colour down to a hidden message sewn inside.

It opened on 21 October as part of a six-city My Pliage World Tour, alongside Melbourne, Hong Kong, Taipei, New York and Seoul. You do not need an appointment. Just walk up to the green booth on Level 1 of Raffles City Stamford.

What you can customise at the Longchamp My Pliage pop-up

Longchamp has been offering My Pliage online for a while, but the pop-up is the first time many of us can see the options in person before committing. The booth is done up in the brand’s Lumière Green, with interactive terminals that show your combination in 3D and a video wall that displays the bag sizes to scale. Longchamp advisors are on hand if you freeze up at the colour stage, which is very likely.

Here is what you get to pick:

  • The style, from seven shapes including travel bags, totes, handbags, a laptop case and a coin purse
  • The body colour, with an expanded palette that now runs from deep brown to petal pink and cobalt
  • Prints, including stripes, love hearts and a new leopard print for this season
  • The leather panels and the metal hardware finish
  • Initials or lettering on the flap
  • A secret message on the inner pocket, such as a name, a date or a few words

That last one is the clever bit for gifting. The outside can look like a smart work bag while the inside carries an anniversary date only the two of you understand.

How much a My Pliage bag costs in Singapore

Longchamp’s Singapore website lists these prices for the seven My Pliage styles as of 4 November 2026:

  • My Pliage Coin purse: S$280
  • My Pliage Laptop case: S$375
  • My Pliage Pouch: S$475
  • My Pliage XS Handbag: S$545
  • My Pliage L Tote bag: S$545
  • My Pliage S Handbag: S$600
  • My Pliage L Travel bag: S$735

So it is not cheap, but it is still one of the more affordable ways into a French luxury label, and Le Pliage has been around since 1993 for good reason. It folds flat, survives Singapore rain and fits a laptop, a water bottle and a cardigan for the office aircon. The coin purse at S$280 is the easy entry point if you want the personalised touch without the bigger spend.

Order early if it is a Christmas present

Nothing goes home with you on the day. Each bag is made to order at Longchamp’s atelier in Segré, France, and the brand says it is delivered within six weeks. Count backwards from 25 December and you land around 13 November, so the kiasu move is to design yours this week or next if it is going under the tree.

Miss that window and an order placed on the last day, 18 November, should still arrive before Chinese New Year on 6 February 2027. Not bad for the relative who is impossible to buy for.

Make a day of it in City Hall

Raffles City sits right above City Hall MRT, so it is an easy after-work stop. If you are already planning holiday shopping, our guide to Christmas markets in Singapore for 2026 has the dates for the big festive fairs. Beauty fans can also check out the METRO Paragon Lancôme holiday pop-up, and sneaker heads may want to read about HOKA’s largest Singapore store at Jewel.

A tip from experience with these design kiosks: decide your two or three colour options before you go. With this many combinations, it is very easy to spend 45 minutes debating cobalt versus brown.
