Garmin Singapore has put the fēnix 9 multisport GPS smartwatch on sale from 17 September 2026, with Singapore pricing from S$1,349.
The Pro line starts at S$1,489 and arrives later. Both sit above the older fēnix 8 as the brand’s current flagship outdoor watch family here.

What you get on paper
fēnix 9 ships in 43mm, 47mm and 51mm cases. The AMOLED display is billed as twice as bright as the previous generation, with a scratch-resistant sapphire lens, leakproof buttons and a 40-metre dive rating.
New stamina zones and a stamina curve are meant to show how endurance shifts with training history. Indoor rowing can surface VO2 Max and a power curve when the machine has a power meter. Rucking now lets you change pack weight mid-activity and follow GORUCK workouts on the watch, with pack targets up to 100kg.
Maps get more memory and a faster engine: Garmin says 50% more RAM than fēnix 8, panning up to 30% quicker, plus a new perspective view. The 64GB storage can hold about twice as many maps as fēnix 8 and up to 7,000 songs.
Garmin Epic groups activities across days into one shareable story in Garmin Connect, with health and performance data and photos attached.
fēnix 9 Pro and when it lands
Pro is the first fēnix with a titanium case. Its AMOLED panels are quoted at up to 3,000 nits. The 51mm Pro carries Garmin’s first 1.5-inch AMOLED, about 15% larger than fēnix 8 without a bigger case. Solar Pro models claim up to 57 days in smartwatch mode under Garmin’s outdoor-lux assumption; the largest AMOLED Pro is listed at up to 31 days.
Select Pro units add inReach satellite and LTE for voice, text and SOS from the wrist, plus LiveTrack and Locate through Garmin Messenger. An active plan is required, and coverage is not available in every region. Pro and inReach variants are dated for a later Singapore release than the standard fēnix 9.
Where to buy in Singapore
fēnix 9 is listed at Garmin Brand Stores, the Garmin Online Store, Lazada, Shopee, Takashimaya and selected authorised retailers. ComfortFit QuickFit fabric bands are sold as accessories.
On paper, the S$1,349 starting price is the figure that matters for a straight replace of an ageing fēnix: brighter AMOLED, more map room and the new stamina tools. Pro buyers are waiting on the titanium case, solar run-times and phone-free inReach, with the S$1,489 floor and later stock date still the official line.
