The next COE open-bidding window opens on Monday 21 September 2026 at 12 noon and closes on Wednesday 23 September at 4pm, according to the LTA OneMotoring 2026 schedule. Bids go through OneMotoring.
The September first exercise that closed on 9 September left Cat A at S$133,009 and Cat B at S$135,001. Those figures sit on the last published board until the 21 to 23 September exercise clears.
What the window is
September’s second exercise is the standing mid-month COE round. Open bidding starts at midday on the Monday and ends at 4pm on the Wednesday. Dealers and individual buyers place bids on OneMotoring during that window; results appear after the close on the same site.
Cat A covers non-fully electric cars up to 1,600cc and 97kW (130bhp), and fully electric cars up to 110kW (147bhp). Cat B is everything above those lines. Cat C is goods vehicles and buses, Cat D motorcycles, and Cat E the open category (all except motorcycles). Renewals do not pay that exercise’s quota premium; they pay the Prevailing Quota Premium, which OneMotoring publishes as a three-month average.
How to bid
Submit and revise bids on OneMotoring while the exercise is open. Authorised dealers can bid on a buyer’s behalf. There is no separate public walk-in counter for COE bids. Quota for each category for this exercise appears on the OneMotoring bidding page once the round is live.
