Are You a Kopi-O Kosong or Milo Dinosaur? AKG Singapore Launches Free Kopitiam Career Quiz

Which kopitiam drink are you — a no-nonsense Kopi-O Kosong, an analytical Kopi C Siew Dai, or an extra-everything Milo Dinosaur? AKG Singapore, a Workforce Singapore (WSG)-appointed career services provider, has launched a fun new free online quiz that matches Singaporean professionals to one of six kopitiam drink personas — based entirely on how they handle the everyday chaos of Singapore’s working life.

What Is the Quiz?

Which Kopitiam Drink Are You? is a free, three-minute online quiz that draws on established career frameworks — reimagined in a distinctly Singaporean way. Users are asked how they’d respond to familiar workplace scenarios: a peak-hour MRT breakdown, a last-minute Friday curveball from the boss, or the eternal struggle of deciding where the team should eat for lunch.

Based on their answers, each user is matched to one of six kopitiam drink personas and receives a personalised persona card describing what it means for the way they show up at work — including their strengths, work style, and which kopitiam drinks make their best teammates.

The Six Personas

  • Kopi-O Kosong — no-nonsense and direct
  • Kopi C Siew Dai — analytical and measured
  • Bandung — unforgettable and distinctive
  • Teh Peng — the team’s glue, reliable and steady
  • Milo Dinosaur — extra-everything, big energy
  • Teh C Kosong — precision-loving and detail-oriented

More Than Just a Quiz

“Singaporeans already identify with their kopitiam orders,” said Evelyn Chua, Project Lead of the Polaris Career Guidance Programme at AKG Singapore. “We wondered: what if your preferred drink could actually tell you something about how you work?”

Beyond the fun, AKG hopes the quiz sparks a moment of genuine reflection. “Most of us never stop to think about how we actually work — what we’re good at, what energises us, and where we’re heading,” Ms Chua added. “If a three-minute quiz over a kopi gets even a few people thinking about that, we’d call it a win.”

AKG Singapore supports individuals in career planning, job matching, and transition as a WSG-appointed career services provider. The quiz is free and takes around three minutes. Take it at bit.ly/akg-careerquiz.
