vivo’s X500 series goes on sale in Singapore on 31 October 2026, with the X500 at S$1,999 and the X500 Pro Max at S$2,499, each with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Alvinology carried vivo Singapore’s local prices and dates on 20 October.

Two phones, two telephoto lenses

The Pro Max centres on a 200MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and an 85mm equivalent focal length, alongside a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide. It takes vivo’s 400mm equivalent ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, a clip-on lens that weighs 248g and works only with the Pro Max.

The X500 is the smaller phone. It has a 64MP ZEISS APO telephoto at 72mm, a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, a 6.59-inch display and an 8.15mm body. It pairs with the lighter 200mm Telephoto Extender Gen 2, which weighs 153g.

Bigger batteries in both models

The Pro Max runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro, built on a 2nm process, with a 7,800mAh battery and a 6.85-inch 2K display. The X500 uses the Dimensity 9600M and a 7,500mAh battery. These are the largest batteries vivo has put in its X series so far.

Both phones charge at 90W wired and 40W wireless, carry IP68 and IP69 ratings and run OriginOS 7. Each has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, USB 3.2 and an infrared blaster. The Pro Max comes in Starry Gray and Sunset Orange, and the X500 in Dusk Black and Sunny White.

Pre-orders and retailers

Pre-orders run from 20 to 30 October at vivo Experience Stores, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok and authorised retailers including Challenger, Best Denki, Courts, Harvey Norman and Gain City, with S$200 off orders placed by 30 October. Singtel takes pre-orders from 23 to 30 October. Pre-order buyers also receive the 200mm Telephoto Extender and a case while stocks last.
