Singapore is getting its first festival devoted to horror, urban folklore and the unexplained. The Something Strange Festival 2026 turns Cineleisure on Orchard Road into a festival village from Friday the 13th, 13 November, to Sunday, 15 November, with free general admission.

What is Something Strange Festival?
Created by Eugene Tay and co-organised by Supernatural Confessions, KillerMud Films and the Singapore Film Society, the festival spreads across Basement 1, Levels 1 to 3, and Levels 5 and 6 of Cineleisure. Golden Village is the official festival cinema. The organisers’ pitch: come for one thing, stay for what you discover.
Free entry covers the Festival Village, Main Stage sessions, The Curiosity Market and the food and social zones. Specific experiences are ticketed.
