Central Singapore’s 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index stood at 153 at 7.00am on 15 September 2026, keeping the region in the unhealthy band, according to the National Environment Agency reading published on haze.gov.sg and the data.gov.sg PSI feed (update timestamp 7.00am SGT).
At the same 7.00am snapshot, NEA put the west at 127, the east at 126, the south at 110 and the north at 104. All five regions were in the unhealthy range (101 to 200). One-hour PM2.5 at that hour was 57 µg/m³ in the central region, 48 in the west, 40 in the north, 36 in the east and 24 in the south.
NEA’s regional haze update still points to dry conditions over much of the southern ASEAN region, with moderate to dense smoke haze observed over parts of Sumatra, Kalimantan and neighbouring areas. Prevailing winds over the southern ASEAN region are forecast mainly from the east-southeast or southeast, so the transboundary haze risk remains elevated.
When the 24-hour PSI sits between 101 and 200, NEA advises the public to cut down on prolonged or strenuous outdoor activity. Vulnerable groups should be more careful still.
