Rumpoles Bar’s current public offer page lists a two-hour liquid buffet at S$38++ for the regular package and S$48++ for premium. That differs from the S$48++ and S$58++ figures in the original version of this article, which have been corrected. The hotel page also says the terms can change, so verify the price and outlet status before travelling.
Records checked on 15 July 2026. LBRD has not visited or paid for these offers and receives no commission. The public venue pages contain a status inconsistency explained below.
Rumpoles Bar deals: current published price
| Offer | Hotel’s public description | Listed price | Estimated after “++” |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular liquid buffet | Two hours of beer, wine and finger food | S$38++ | About S$45.55 |
| Premium liquid buffet | Two hours of beer, wine, sparkling wine, pasta and finger food | S$48++ | About S$57.55 |
| Wagyu Tomahawk offer | About 1.5kg MB4+ for two to three people, according to July media material | S$148++ | About S$177.45; confirm availability |
The first two rows are drawn from Shangri-La’s live Bottomless Liquid Buffet page. The estimates apply 10% service charge and 9% GST: price × 1.10 × 1.09, consistent with IRAS’s F&B price example. They exclude any extra order or event-specific charge.
The Tomahawk offer needs direct confirmation
July 2026 information supplied to LBRD described a roughly 1.5kg MB4+ Wagyu Tomahawk at S$148++, serving two to three people, available Thursday to Saturday with 24 hours’ notice. LBRD could not find that offer on the hotel’s current public deals page on 15 July. Treat it as unconfirmed until the hotel accepts the order.
If available at the supplied price, the estimated S$177.45 final bill is about S$88.72 each for two diners or S$59.15 each for three, before other drinks or dishes. A 1.5kg listed weight includes the bone and does not equal 1.5kg of edible cooked meat. Ask what sides and sauces are included, how doneness is handled, and whether a deposit or cancellation charge applies.
The public pages contain a venue-status conflict
The official Rumpoles Bar page lists Tuesday-to-Saturday hours of 5pm to 1am, but the same page also displays “Closed until further notice.” The live liquid-buffet offer remains online. These statements cannot all be treated as a reliable same-day opening confirmation.
Call the F&B line at +65 6831 4374 or email [email protected]. Ask the staff member to confirm the date, opening hours, package price, two-hour start time, included beverages and food, and whether Rumpoles itself or another hotel outlet will fulfil the booking. The hotel’s official FAQ provides the same reservation contacts.
Which package is the better fit?
The premium tier costs S$10++ more, or about S$12 after conventional charges. According to the public offer text, that difference adds sparkling wine and pasta to the regular beer, wine and finger-food package. The page does not publish brand lists, pour measures, last-order timing or a detailed food menu. Ask for those details instead of assuming “premium” describes a particular label or quantity.
Price alone should not drive the decision. A fixed two-hour window may be poor value for someone who wants one drink, and “free-flow” does not remove the need to keep count. A normal à la carte order could be more suitable, but LBRD did not find a current public Rumpoles menu that allows a like-for-like calculation.
Correction record
The earlier version stated S$48++ for standard and S$58++ for premium, plus a daily 5pm–10pm service window. The live hotel offer reviewed on 15 July instead states S$38++ and S$48++ for two hours and does not show that daily window in its offer terms. LBRD has removed the unsupported time claim. This correction is material: the current published regular package is about S$11.99 cheaper after conventional charges than the old article implied.
The public offer also says it cannot be combined with other promotions and that the hotel may discontinue or change it. Ask whether a membership discount, voucher or hotel dining benefit is excluded before assuming it stacks with the buffet.
Booking checklist
- Confirm the outlet is open on the chosen date.
- Quote the live S$38++ or S$48++ page and ask staff to confirm.
- Check the two-hour session start, last order and table return time.
- Ask for beverage brands, non-alcoholic choices, food items and allergens.
- For the Tomahawk, confirm weight basis, inclusions, notice period and cancellation rule.
- Save the written confirmation if prepayment is required.

Responsible-drinking note
“Bottomless” is a sales format, not a consumption target. Health Promotion Board’s responsible-drinking guide recommends counting drinks, setting a limit, alternating with non-alcoholic drinks and making safe transport plans.
Bottom line: use S$38++ and S$48++ as the current published liquid-buffet figures, not the earlier higher prices. Because Rumpoles’ public status text conflicts and the Tomahawk offer is absent from the live deals page, call +65 6831 4374 and obtain confirmation before making a special trip.
