Patrick Watson’s Esplanade gig moves to the Singtel Waterfront Theatre

Patrick Watson’s Singapore concert on Tuesday 24 November has moved to a smaller room. The Canadian songwriter’s Uh Oh Tour stop will now take place at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre at Esplanade rather than the Esplanade Theatre, under an update on the Esplanade’s Mosaic Music Series listing. The date and the 7.30pm start stay the same.

What ticketholders need to do

Anyone who already bought tickets for the Esplanade Theatre should look out for an email from SISTIC with details of replacement tickets. The show runs 1 hour 30 minutes with no interval, is open to ages six and above, and is performed in English with some French. Assistive listening is available.

Tickets start from S$58.50 for students, NSFs and seniors, in limited numbers, with concessions also offered for persons with disabilities. Standard tickets are S$90 for Cat 1 and S$65 for Cat 2.

Who Patrick Watson is

Watson writes and records with his long-time bandmates, multi-instrumentalists Mishka Stein and Olivier Fairfield. Many listeners know his voice from To Build a Home, his 2007 collaboration with The Cinematic Orchestra. His songs have turned up on Grey’s Anatomy and This Is Us, and in films by Denis Villeneuve (Polytechnique) and Wim Wenders (Perfect Days). Je te laisserai des mots became the first French-language song to pass one billion streams on Spotify, and he has more than 15 film scores to his name.
