Two department stores are running their house fairs at once. OG titles its version The Joy of Giving and marks down individual items. Metro has cut its own home and travel ranges, and it leans on a spend threshold rather than item prices.
Cookware
The ZWILLING Pico four-piece cookware set is S$169.20 at OG, down from S$428. The MEYER Himalaya three-piece set in red is S$79, down from S$269. Both sit inside the Joy of Giving section. The Meyer set is the cheaper of the two.

Bed linen
OG has the MAISON DE CLAIRE cotton dobby fitted sheet in white at S$44.10 for a single, down from S$219, and at S$62.10 for a queen, down from S$239. The Jean Perry Oakridge fitted sheet is S$49 for a single, down from S$295, and S$69 for a queen, down from S$395.
Metro’s deepest home cut is a different product. The Bellami Plus memory foam pillows are S$111.20 each, down from S$189, and the same price applies across the linear, ergo rest and cloudtech shapes.

Beauty, where the rules differ
OG runs its beauty offer on spend rather than on items. From 29 October to 4 November, S$150 of regular-priced goods in its prestige beauty brands takes another S$20 off, and S$300 takes S$50, applied at checkout. Metro’s storewide offer is S$30 off a S$300 spend, and beauty is excluded from it, so the same basket is treated differently at the two stores. Metro runs a separate 15 per cent off beauty.

Small things
The Estée Lauder Lip Concierge Pure Color collection is S$62 at OG, down from S$236. A kilogram of Nature’s Nutrition manuka honey at UMF15+ is S$119 at OG, down from S$355. At Metro, the Brooklyn Works utility pocket bag is S$35.40, down from S$59.

OG’s beauty offer runs to 4 November, and Metro’s S$30 comes off once a basket of regular-priced goods crosses S$300.
