The three escape rooms
Each room places a familiar learning area inside a story, with a mission for children to complete. Activities are designed around the preschool’s curriculum and encourage children to take part rather than simply watch.
- Professor Boo’s Spooky Science Lab: hands-on experiments and puzzles, from finding out which objects float or sink to revealing secret codes through chemical reactions and experimenting with coloured lights.
- The Spooky Schloss: a trip through German culture and traditions, where children find Germany on a world map, assemble the German flag, sort pictures of landmarks, animals and food, and follow a German dance.
- The Haunted Gallery: children piece together scrambled artworks inspired by Wassily Kandinsky, uncover hidden words and follow patterns to find the final key.

Other Halloween activities
Beyond the escape rooms, there is plenty more on the programme:
- Pasta Boo and Rave Room: pasta in a cup with a surprise element, followed by dancing in the Rave Room.
- Caricature and face painting: portraits drawn in an exaggerated style and Halloween-themed face painting to take home.
- Halloween Maze: a themed maze that encourages problem-solving and spatial awareness.
- Magic show: tricks, illusions and interactive moments for children and families.
- Bag pick-up: a designated area for parents to collect their children’s bags.

Learning through play
The escape rooms draw on Little Paddington’s approach to early childhood learning, where curiosity, creativity and confidence are built through hands-on experiences. Children can work with their peers on tasks such as piecing together artworks, collecting passport stamps and recording what they observe in the science experiments.
