Singapore is about to get its very own juju world — and it comes in yellow. Australian artist Cj Hendry brings the world premiere of her beloved inflatable experience to IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay, running from 20 June to 18 July 2026. This is the first time juju world has appeared in yellow anywhere in the world, making Singapore the only place on earth to host this colourway.

The World’s First Inflatable juju Experience
Known for her hyperrealistic large-scale drawings and immersive public installations, Cj Hendry has built a global following by making art genuinely accessible. Her JuJu collectible toy series has drawn passionate fans across the world — and now, IMBA Theatre is transforming its gallery space at Gardens by the Bay into an entire universe built around it.
juju world is a surreal, immersive environment filled with a sea of yellow balls, soft sculptural forms, and giant inflatable juju characters. Visitors are invited to wander, play, and experience the boundary between art and childhood wonder. Limited-edition juju collectibles created exclusively for the Singapore run will be available during the experience — and once it closes on 18 July 2026, they will not be available anywhere else.

A Singapore Exclusive in Every Sense
On this landmark collaboration, Michael Lee, CEO of IMBA, shared: “IMBA Theatre is where curiosity grows. We’re excited to partner with Cj Hendry, whose work embodies everything we believe art and culture can be — bold, playful, and genuinely for everyone. juju world invites visitors to participate, not just observe; to touch, choose, and take something home. CJ’s installations cross every boundary of language, age and background.”
Teyi Guo, Director of Leisure Events at the Singapore Tourism Board, added: “juju world is a bold and imaginative experience that adds to Singapore’s growing pipeline of world-class events, reinforcing our position as a compelling destination for arts and culture lovers from around the region and beyond.”
Artist Cj Hendry herself said: “Presenting my works in Southeast Asia with IMBA feels incredibly exciting because these activations represent our shared emotion and universal experiences, from curiosity to adolescence and nostalgia. I hope audiences will treasure the two limited runs at IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay.”
