Had lunch at Hundred Grains (百米香) at CityLink Mall today with Willie and Daryl.
It is a slightly different concept from the usual mixed rice stall. You pick what you want from a line of dishes, they weigh your tray, and you pay by weight. Rice, brown rice, porridge and drinks are free flow. Leave a review and they give you free soup too.

The place is cleaner than a typical cai png stall. Bowls are labelled. You can take a little bit of a few things instead of committing to three big scoops. That part I like.

Willie went slightly crazy. Almost 800g. The receipt said 0.784 kg and he paid $27.17 including GST. That is a lot of food.

Taste is decent. Not too salty, which is rare for this kind of place. Nothing really surprised me. No dish stood out as amazing, but nothing was bad either.

The free-flow rice is clearly the crowd favourite. For Asians, that is half the reason to come back.
Would I return? Yes, if I am around CityLink and want a quick Chinese lunch without thinking too hard. Not a destination meal. A solid weekday option.
Overall: 3.5/5
