How the show works

The audience decides the running order, calling out which play comes next from their seats, and the company warns that shouting will be required. The 2026 edition takes on the World Cup’s biggest moments, the high-stakes drama in the Strait of Hormuz and the BTS comeback.

The format has toured Paris, Washington DC and Oslo. It was nominated for Best in Theatre at the Sydney Fringe Festival in 2019 and the Melbourne Fringe Festival in 2020.

The company behind it

How Drama was founded in 2007 and makes site-specific and interactive theatre. It keeps Fat Kids ticket prices low on purpose to bring in young audiences, and puts it this way: “If you can watch a movie and buy pop corn, you can watch Fat Kids.”
