Earth in Focus nature film fest still has S$12 sessions at GV Cineleisure on 7 November

Earth in Focus, Singapore’s nature film festival, still has ticketed sessions at Golden Village Cineleisure on Saturday 7 November 2026, with film packages at S$12 and the awards ceremony at S$25, while free outdoor screenings continue at Sentosa through the month.

The festival runs 5 to 8 November 2026 under the theme The Future We Choose. Main cinema blocks sit at Golden Village Cineleisure, 8 Grange Road, near Somerset MRT. Sunday 8 November shifts to Sentosa for the photography exhibition opening at Beach Station and a free closing screening at Movies by the Beach on the Palawan Kidz City rooftop. Wild Space, the Singapore social enterprise behind the festival, publishes the programme and Tessera ticket links at earthinfocus.co and programme.earthinfocus.co.

What is still on sale today

Saturday’s Media Lab student shorts session at 11am is sold out, with a waiting list on Tessera. Three later blocks still show tickets on the festival programme: a 12.30pm panel with activists from The Last Place on Earth at S$12; a 1.30pm double bill of Under Threat and She Measures the Earth, followed by a fishbowl talk, at S$12 with few seats left; and a 3pm double bill of SPOILED and Stone Biter, followed by a climate adaptation panel, at S$12 with few seats left. The awards ceremony from 4.30pm is ticketed separately at S$25, with registration on Level 5 before the Hall 2 session.

Online sales close one hour before each session. Remaining seats then sell at the door. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. Free seating means earlier arrivals take the better rows. Festival booths on Level 5 run 12pm to 5.30pm with no ticket required.

Free options at Sentosa and beyond

Movies by the Beach at Palawan Kidz City rooftop carries free outdoor nature films on selected evenings from 31 October to 29 November, mostly at 6pm. Saturday 7 November screens Guided by Horses at 6pm. Sunday 8 November closes the festival weekend with The Fading Star at 6.15pm, after a free photography exhibition opening at Beach Station from 4.30pm. The Earth in Focus Nature Photography Exhibition stays up at Beach Station to 29 November, with People’s Choice voting open online until 28 November at 11.59pm.

An encore of the sold-out Friday 6 November films, I’ll Need To Leave For A Little While and The Last Place on Earth, is booked for Wednesday 18 November at 7pm at Filmhouse, Golden Mile Tower, at S$12.

How the money works

Most cinema and panel sessions cost S$12. The Hot Seat photojournalism masterclass on Friday 6 November and the Saturday awards ceremony cost S$25 each. Children need their own ticket for any session their IMDA rating allows. The festival programme names Hall 6 on Level 6 for screenings and talks, and Hall 2 for the awards. Dress for the awards is smart casual, with no slippers or shorts.

Anyone booking a paid Saturday block should treat Tessera’s live availability as the last word, because sold-out tags move through the day.
