CLOVE Thai Takeover Buffet: Prices, Timing and Booking Checks

CLOVE at Swissôtel The Stamford is running its Thai Takeover buffet from 8 July to 8 August 2026, with different prices and menus for weekday lunch, weeknight dinner and weekend services. The practical decision is which service matches the dishes and drinks you want—not simply whether the headline says “Thai buffet”.

This guide is for a couple, family or group comparing the available sessions before booking. Published prices use “++”, so the amount shown by the restaurant is not the final bill. Discounts and blackout dates must be confirmed in the reservation flow.

Published CLOVE Thai Takeover prices

Service Adult Child Published feature
Weekday lunch, Monday–Friday S$80++ S$40++ Thai lunch rotation
Sunday–Thursday dinner S$98++ S$49++ Expanded dinner spread
Weekend lunch and Friday–Saturday dinner S$130++ / stated promotional S$118++ S$59++ Published free-flow beer and prosecco inclusion

The current venue and booking route are on Swissôtel’s official CLOVE page and the official SevenRooms experience. Current menu files are also exposed through CLOVE’s Grab Dine Out listing. The booking screen and confirmation control over any summary here.

Turn “++” into a planning figure

Singapore restaurant “++” usually signals service charge and GST are added, but the final computation depends on the restaurant’s invoice treatment and any discount. Do not treat a mental shortcut as the bill. Ask the booking channel for the final payable amount.

LBRD comparison before taxes and charges

Party Base-price calculation Base subtotal
Two adults, weekday lunch 2 × S$80 S$160++
Two adults, weeknight dinner 2 × S$98 S$196++
Two adults, weekend S$118 offer 2 × S$118 S$236++
Two adults + one child, weekday lunch S$80 + S$80 + S$40 S$200++

The difference between two weekday lunches and two weeknight dinners is S$36 before added charges. The difference between the stated S$118 weekend offer and two weekday lunches is S$76 before added charges. These are LBRD arithmetic comparisons, not final-bill quotes; drinks, child-age rules, discounts and taxes can change the result.

Choose by service, not by a single dish photo

The published menus rotate by service. Dishes named in the promotion include Thai salads, curries, soups, stir-fries and desserts, with live-station items such as pad Thai and som tam appearing in the campaign material. That does not guarantee every named dish at every sitting. Open the exact lunch, dinner or weekend menu attached to your booking date.

A useful four-column comparison is: must-have dish, service where it appears, drinks included and base price. If the dish is absent from the exact menu, choose another service or ask the restaurant before paying a deposit.

Booking and timing checks

  • Weekday lunch is published around 12pm–2.30pm; weekend lunch around 12.30pm–3pm.
  • Dinner is published around 6pm–10pm, with earlier last-reservation and last-order times.
  • Confirm the restaurant’s child-age definition rather than assuming every child receives the child rate.
  • Ask whether a card or membership discount applies to the Thai Takeover, which sessions it covers and whether 7–9 August blackout dates affect it.
  • Record cancellation, no-show and deposit terms shown at checkout.

A discount is not a menu guarantee

Accor and card promotions may advertise “up to” savings. “Up to” does not mean every diner, day or table receives the maximum. Compare the discounted final bill against the base service that actually includes what your group wants. Do not choose a higher-priced session solely to access a percentage reduction.

If the group is comparing other buffets, see our Seasonal Tastes buffet guide and J65 buffet price guide.

Allergen and accessibility check

Thai and buffet dishes can contain shellfish, fish sauce, nuts, dairy, egg or gluten, and buffet stations introduce cross-contact risk. Contact CLOVE directly for ingredient and cross-contact information if a diner has an allergy. Also confirm step-free access, seating needs and a quieter arrival time where relevant.

Final booking checklist

  • The date is within 8 July–8 August 2026.
  • You opened the exact menu for that service.
  • You have the final payable amount, not only the “++” base price.
  • Any discount, blackout date and child rule is confirmed.
  • The cancellation terms and dietary limitations are acceptable.

Official venue, booking and menu pages checked 22 July 2026. LBRD did not dine at this promotion and makes no first-hand claim about taste, portion replenishment or service.

Compare value per dining hour carefully

A longer or more expensive session is not automatically better value. Divide the base price by the published service window only as a planning comparison, not as a reason to rush through a meal. For example, a S$80 weekday lunch over a 2.5-hour published window is S$32 per available hour before charges; a S$98 dinner over a four-hour window is S$24.50. Actual seating duration, last orders and reservation time may be shorter, so the restaurant’s confirmation controls.

Build a group requirement sheet

Requirement Confirm before booking Why it changes the choice
Thai focus Exact dishes on the selected service menu The rotation differs across lunch, dinner and weekend
Alcohol Whether beer and prosecco are included for every adult Non-drinkers may not value the higher tier
Child rate Age band and proof required “Child” is not a universal restaurant category
Dietary need Ingredient and cross-contact response A buffet label may not cover shared utensils
Discount Card, member, day and blackout restrictions The maximum advertised saving may not apply

Arrival plan at Raffles City

CLOVE is at Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Road. Allow time to find the hotel entrance and restaurant rather than treating the reservation time as arrival time. If members of the group are coming by different routes, share the venue name and hotel—not only “Raffles City”—and agree on a meeting point.

After booking

Save the confirmation, selected service, number of adults and children, final rate, discount basis and cancellation terms in one message to the group. Recheck the booking if the restaurant changes the menu or if the visit falls near 7–9 August. This record prevents a menu screenshot from being mistaken for a confirmed reservation.
