Celestial Nights at Science Centre Singapore runs 19 to 27 September 2026, with a free illuminated trail for families and a ticketed MOONBEATS silent disco on Saturday 26 September from about S$25 online.
Free trail for kids and teens
The Celestial Trail links Science Centre and Japanese Garden with low lights and cosmic displays. It is free for all ages across the nine nights and is included with every paid Celestial Nights ticket. Stargazing zones are also listed under the free Celestial Nights pass.
Start at Metamorphosis or the Water Lily Pavilion in Japanese Garden, or at the Science Centre main entrance. Jurong East MRT is about a 10-minute walk. Parking is limited, so Science Centre asks visitors to use public transport.
S$4 planetarium on peak nights
On 25 and 26 September, the Omni-Theatre runs Moon Legends: From Myth to Mission at 6pm, 6.40pm, 7.20pm, 8pm, 8.40pm and 9.20pm. The Live Digital Planetarium show and Celestial Nights pass is S$4 and covers the show, the trail and stargazing. Main observatory 16-inch telescope slots on those nights are listed as sold out on the Science Centre page.
MOONBEATS for older kids and parents
MOONBEATS: AFTERDARK is one night only on 26 September, 7pm to 11pm, in Hall A. Guests wear wireless headphones for a silent disco that moves from the gardens into darkened galleries, with one drink included. Early-bird tickets at S$20 are sold out. The online special is S$25 until 25 September; door price is S$35. A limited duo bundle is listed at S$40.
Bag checks may apply for MOONBEATS; large bags may need lockers for a fee. Personal telescopes and tripods are not allowed on site. Courtyard F&B pop-ups and free White Rabbit ice cream (terms apply) run on event nights, with live acoustic sets by Chalmers Wong on 25 September from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
