CapitaStar, CapitaLand’s mall rewards app, is giving back S$8 to S$30 in eCapitaVouchers on qualifying spends at CapitaLand malls until 31 October. A tranche of 1,860 S$15 vouchers for Citi Mastercard holders was released at 7am today, Thursday 8 October, and the next is due at 7am on 15 October.
The campaign, called Rewards Rush, marks the app’s 15th birthday. It runs from 1 to 31 October and has seven parts. Every one of them needs a CapitaStar account, and most need a card or wallet linked inside the app.
The vouchers, priced
The cleanest offer is the eCapitaVoucher Exclusive. Pay at least S$80 in a single transaction with eCapitaVoucher at one of 15 participating malls, and CapitaStar credits a S$8 eCapitaVoucher.
That is 10 per cent back, once per member per mall, with each mall capped at a few hundred redemptions.
The Citi Mastercard offer pays a S$15 eCapitaVoucher on a single spend of at least S$200 with a linked Citi Mastercard. That works out to 7.5 per cent. Stock is released in tranches of 1,860 at 7am every Thursday in October except 29 October, on 1, 8, 15 and 22 October. The offer is capped at one per member and 7,440 vouchers in total, and spending at Jewel, ION Orchard and Paragon does not count.
Buying eCapitaVouchers is the third route. A purchase of at least S$250 in eCapitaVouchers with a linked Mastercard earns a bonus voucher of S$15, S$20, S$25 or S$30, awarded at random, plus two lucky draw chances. The bonus is between 6 and 12 per cent of S$250.
It is limited to two per member and the first 6,050 qualifying purchases across the campaign, and the bonus voucher expires 93 days after it is credited.
Kris+ users get 1,500 KrisPay miles, worth S$15, on a single spend of at least S$150 through Kris+ at partner stores in the participating malls. That is 10 per cent, for the first 1,000 qualifying members.
Where the stacking works
A single eligible spend can count towards several rewards at once. A S$200 receipt paid with a linked Citi Mastercard can earn the S$15 Citi voucher, 10X bonus STAR$ and one Mastercard lucky draw chance for 80,000 KrisFlyer miles or a staycation with Universal Studios Singapore tickets.
The 10X bonus STAR$ applies to a single receipt of at least S$80 paid with eCapitaVoucher or a linked Mastercard, DBS or POSB card, ShopBack Pay or Kris+. It is capped at 15,000 bonus STAR$ a day, on top of the usual daily cap of 5,000, and at one reward per member per mall per day. Each mall also has its own cap, from 150 redemptions at Bugis+, CQ @ Clarke Quay, imall and Tekka Place to 3,000 at Funan and Westgate.
Supermarket spending does not count towards the bonus STAR$ offer, which takes out the most common S$80 receipt.
Freebie drops and the stamp card
The free part runs on reward codes. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 31 October, CapitaStar releases codes for free food and drink and brand deal eVouchers in the app, 12 drop days in all, with clues posted on its @CapitaStarSG accounts. Friday Deal Drops include 1,000 STAR$ for the first 2,000 redemptions each Friday.
Members who collect five Birthday Stamps through the month enter a draw for one of 15 prizes worth S$1,000 each.

The S$8 eCapitaVoucher offer runs at 15 malls: Aperia Mall, Bedok Mall, Bugis Junction, Bugis+, CQ @ Clarke Quay, Funan, IMM, Junction 8, Lot One Shoppers’ Mall, Plaza Singapura/The Atrium@Orchard, Raffles City Singapore, Sengkang Grand Mall, SingPost Centre, Tampines Mall and Westgate. The 10X bonus STAR$ offer adds imall, Kallang Wave Mall and Tekka Place. The next tranche of 1,860 S$15 Citi Mastercard vouchers is released at 7am on Thursday, 15 October, with the last on 22 October.
