The illumi Asia event is making its debut in Singapore from September 13, 2024, at the Bayfront Event Ground. This event is known as the world’s largest nocturnal light festival and will feature 20 million LED lights to create stunning light installations and large-scale structures.
Here are some highlights of the event:
- Nine Themed Worlds: Including The Enchanted Maples, Walls of Lights, Puppies and Kitties, The Magical Forest, The Tunnel of Colours, The Infinite Poles, The Dune Palace, The Jurassic Kingdom, and the illumi Tree of Light.
- The Illumi Tree of Light: Standing at 47 meters tall, equivalent to five Merlions stacked on top of each other.
- Energy-Efficient and Sustainable: The event focuses on using energy-efficient lighting technologies and recycled materials.
Ticket Prices:
- Adult: S$25++
- Child (2-12 years old): S$15++
- VIP: S$50++ (includes single admission, lanyard and gift, one complimentary carousel ride, and one complimentary non-alcoholic drink).
The event, which first debuted in Montreal in 2019, has now made its international premiere right here in Singapore, transforming the Marina Bay area into a radiant wonderland from September 13, 2024, to February 2, 2025. The experience is open from 7:15 PM to 10:30 PM daily, inviting visitors to explore the magic under the stars.
The event is not just a visual feast but an interactive journey as well. Visitors are encouraged to touch and engage with the installations, making it a playground of light for all ages. The commitment to sustainability is also woven into the fabric of the event, with energy-efficient lighting technologies and the use of recycled materials, ensuring that the spectacle dazzles responsibly.
