7 Paintings: Conrad Singapore Marina Bay Launches a Seven-Course Art Dinner Show

7 Paintings at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay turns dinner into a hands-on art class. The new seven-course dinner show, called 7 Paintings: The Art of Dining, invites guests to paint, play and puzzle their way through works by Michelangelo, Banksy, Picasso, Pollock, Warhol, Dali and Van Gogh.

Seven artists, seven courses, one table

The experience runs for about two and a half hours at Lounge by the Pool on Level 4. Each course is dedicated to one artist and a defining work, and each asks diners to take part by painting, listening to short stories or solving a riddle.

Some of the courses are built for play. Banksy’s Girl with Balloon is stencilled onto the plate, ready for guests to finish with spray cans. Pollock’s course brings a palette of spinach coconut, beetroot and pumpkin puree to paint with. The finale is a chocolate painting on citrus cake, where chocolate-chilli, white chocolate raspberry and tart strawberry sauces let guests add finishing touches to Van Gogh’s iconic work.

The concept sits naturally in the hotel, which holds a collection of more than 3,400 sculptures and paintings by local and international artists.

Menus and prices
